All original, freshly serviced and working perfectly: a vintage Swiss Made Omega pocket watch. This piece dates back to the late 1940's-early 1950's based on the movement. The front features a white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and rose gold tone Breguet style hands. A sub dial at the 6 O'Clock position counts down the seconds. Considering its age and fragility, the dial is in exceptional condition. No chips or cracks can be found, and all lettering is still sharp and clear.

Inside we find a high quality Swiss Made Omega 161 movement, which was derived from the earlier Omega 38.5L caliber. It is known for being a very sturdy and reliable movement, as it was used for military purposes as well.

The watch was lovingly restored with eye for authenticity. Its movement was completely disassembled, cleaned and lubricated, and is now working perfectly for years to come. The outside case has been cleaned entirely as well, but left unpolished to maintain its patina and originality. A brand new plexiglass crystal was fitted, as the original was missing. In all, a very well preserved and fully functional piece of Omega history.

Its looks are reminiscent of and inspired by retro rally style chronograph watches, with intriguing sub dials and perforated bracelet. The stainless steel case measures approximately 40mm in diameter and 11mm in thickness. The dark blue dial features white and red accents and is protected by a sapphire crystal. On said dial, a number of features can be found: a date window at the 4 O'clock position, a 1/10 second chronograph dial at 2 O'clock, a small seconds dial at 6 O'clock and a chronograph minutes counter at the 6 O'clock position. Both the central hour and minute hands as well as the indices are luminous. The black and creamy white bezel features a tachymetre scale and pulsometer. It measures a whopping 35mm in width and 36mm in height, which probably makes this one of the largest ceramic Rado models out there: hence the XL designation. The integrated bracelet does not taper towards the buckle, adding to its hefty look. Behind the curved sapphire crystal sits a minimalist black dial, with gold accents on both the hands and chronograph sub dials. Said sub dials are not evenly spaced nor equally sized, creating a very intriguing layout. A date window can be found at the 4 o'clock position.
