The watch features a slender gold plated stainless steel case which measures 34mm in diameter and just under 11mm in thickness. The dial on this particular example comes in a creamy off-white/silvery sunburst finish. Polished gold tone stick shaped hands indicate the time on gold tone indices. Inside the watch sits a renowned Omega 565 automatic movement, which is working perfectly. The watch comes on a Hirsch "Duke" brown leather strap with quick release spring bars and generic gold plated buckle, ready to wear.
The example sold here appears to have had quite the life, and is sold as a bargain at a bargain price given its fair but honest condition. You will definitely find wear marks on the case and lugs, most notably some dings to the side of the bottom right lug. The case has been cleaned thoroughly, but was left unpolished to maintain its original edges and curves. A brand new generic but properly fitting plexiglass crystal was fitted. The crown was worn, and was also replaced with a brand new yet generic example. The dial shows some minor signs of age and the lume in the hands has cracked, but otherwise the watch face has stood the test of time well.
The movement might look a little rough in certain places, but functionally it is working perfectly. It has received a full service prior to sale: the movement was entirely disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and regulated. Many parts were replaced with nothing but original Omega parts to ensure that it is good to go again.
