For sale is a Swiss Made Longines Ladies' watch with reference number 2821, featuring an intriguing design by Rodolphe Cattin. Rodolphe was an in-house designer for the Longines brand, with such an iconic view on watch design that he was given an entirely separate product line: hence "Rodolphe By Longines". He helped rejuvenate the Longines brand throughout the years, and later went on to work for the Franck Muller brand before going independent. The 32mm case is made of gold plated stainless steel with an integrated bracelet design. Said bracelet features a signed jewellery clasp. Behind the sapphire crystal sits a stunning white dial with "Rodolphe By Longines" text in different orientations.
The watch is powered by a Swiss Made Longines L175.2 movement based on the ETA 980.003, a high quality quartz calibre with 7 jewels. The watch comes fitted to the original gold tone bracelet. Please be aware that the bracelet is currently sized to fit a wrist with maximum circumference of around 18cm, measured including 1 spare bracelet link. Resizing the bracelet to fit smaller wrists can easily be done by removing some links. In order to increase the size of the bracelet past 18cm, extra bracelet links will have to be sourced online or at a dealership (which might prove difficult.
The example sold here has been worn, which is evident by slight wear marks on the case and bracelet. The crystal is in good condition still, with one minor scratch towards the 6 O'clock position.
