  • Mondia

Sky Thunder - Vintage Automatic Mens Watch - Sister Company of Zenith
    €575.00

For sale is a Swiss Made Mondia "Sky Thunder" Automatic men's watch with reference number 9077, presumably dating back to the late 1960s. Mondia was part of the Movado-Zenith-Mondia conglomerate of reputable Swiss watch manufacturers at the time, bundling forces to conquer a larger market. This watch features a fairly large for its age case made from stainless steel, measuring 36mm in diameter and just under 11mm in thickness.

The dial on this particular example comes in a gorgeous silver tone with sunburst finish. The polished steel and black accents of the raised indices and hands contrast nicely with the dial colour, and a date window can be found at the 3 O'Clock position. Inside the watch we find a renowned Mondia signed and gorgeously finished A. Schild 1883 automatic movement, which is working perfectly.

The example sold here has been worn throughout its life, but is still in decent condition considering its age. You will certainly find wear marks on the case, but no overly coarse damage. Most notable is a ding to the bezel near the crown. Said case is unpolished and therefore in original shape, with sharp edges and curves. The crown is unsigned and shows some wear as well. The watch face has stood the test of time fairly well, with minor marks here and there. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. We are sure that you like honesty, and so do we.

Functionally, the watch has received a full service prior to sale and is working perfectly. The movement was entirely disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and regulated. The caseback gasket and crystal are brand new. The watch comes fitted to a brand new generic black leather strap with generic stainless steel buckle, ready to wear. Sold as watch only: sadly no original box or paperwork are present with this piece.

Your new timepiece will be packaged with great care, and will be shipped out as fast as possible. We usually ship the same day your payment comes in, and provide full insurance as well as a tracking code for all of our packages. If you have any questions regarding the item or our services, please do not hesitate to reach out. We'll gladly assist as soon as we get the chance.

    Baume & Mercier

Capeland Automatic - Vintage Stainless Steel Mens Watch - Swiss Made
    €755.00

For sale is a Swiss Made Baume & Mercier "Capeland" men's automatic watch with reference number MV045221, presumably dating back to the early 2000s. The watch is characterised by its round stainless steel case with beefy lugs and raised circular brushed bezel. Said case measures 39mm in diameter and just under 12mm in thickness. The dial of this particular piece is finished in a stunning matte silver finish with circular texture. Polished stainless steel hands indicate the time on black Arabic numerals, while a small seconds sub dial can be found at the 6 O'clock position.

A curved sapphire crystal protects the watch face. The screw-down crown is original and bears the Baume & Mercier logo. The watch is powered by a high quality Swiss Made Baume & Mercier BM 11895 automatic calibre, which is responsible for the relatively unusual sub seconds feature. Said calibre is a more complicated and elaborate version of the highly regarded and widely used ETA 2892 movement, in this case the ETA 2895-1. The watch comes on a quality Hirsch "Kansas" black leather strap with quick release spring bars and generic Hirsch stainless steel buckle, ready to wear.

The example sold here has been worn, but is still in good condition. You will find normal wear marks on the case, but no coarse damage. The crystal is free from scratches. Functionally, the watch has received a full service prior to sale and is working perfectly. The movement was entirely disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and regulated. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. We are sure that you like honesty, and so do we. Accompanying the watch is its original Baume & Mercier presentation box; sadly no original paperwork is present with this piece.

  • Omega

Seamaster Automatic - Vintage Mens 18k Yellow Gold Dress Watch - Serviced
    €1,895.00

Offered for sale is a vintage Swiss Made Omega Seamaster men's dress watch with reference 166.001, dating back to 1969 based on its serial number. The watch features an 18k yellow gold case which measures 34mm in diameter and just under 11mm in thickness. The dial on this particular example must have once been a sunburst silver, but has developed a unique and uniform gold tone "crème brulée" patina which fades into the original colour towards the center. Polished gold tone stick shaped hands indicate the time on gold and black indices, and a date window can be found at the 3 O'clock position. Inside the watch sits a renowned Omega 565 automatic movement, which is working perfectly. The watch comes on a Hirsch Kansas black leather strap with generic gold plated buckle and quick release spring bars, ready to wear.

The example sold here has been worn, but is in decent condition considering its age. You will find wear marks on the case and lugs, but no overly coarse damage. The case has been cleaned thoroughly, but was left unpolished to maintain its original edges and curves. A brand new original Omega PX5011 plexiglass crystal was fitted, which features the Omega hallmark in the center. The crown is also original and signed with the Omega logo, but said logo is fairly worn. We can fit a generic crown and deliver the original crown separately if desired. The dial shows some stunningly uniform patina, even though it might not look that uniform in the pictures as the dial is domed: this causes bright and dark spots, while it looks very uniform in the flesh.

Sold as watch only: sadly no original box or paperwork are present with this piece.

Your newly acquired timepiece will be packaged with great care, and will be shipped out as fast as possible. We usually ship the same day your payment comes in, and provide full insurance as well as a tracking code for all of our packages. Zenith

Defy Surf Defy Automatic - Vintage Stainless Steel Mens Watch
    €1,425.00

For sale is a Swiss Made Zenith Defy Automatic men's watch with reference number 02.0430.456.460, presumably dating back to the early 1980s. It features a distinctive stainless steel case design reminiscent of earlier 1970s Defy models, measuring 34mm in width, 36mm in height and just under 11mm in thickness. Said case seamlessly flows over into the original bracelet with Zenith signed clasp. The dial on this particular example is finished in a matte black tone. Stick shaped hands indicate the time on polished steel indices, and the original central red seconds hand adds a nice touch of colour.

Inside the watch sits a high quality Zenith 45.6 movement, based on the Swiss Made ETA 2872 which is known to be an absolute workhorse. Functionally, the watch has received a full service prior to sale and is working perfectly. The movement was entirely disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and regulated. The crown was not original when we acquired the watch, and was replaced for a brand new generic crown during our service.

The example sold here has been worn throughout its life, but is still in good overall condition considering its age. You will find signs of wear on the case, but no overly coarse damage. Most notable is a minor ding to the side of the case underneath the crown. The case is unpolished and therefore in original shape, with sharp edges and curves. The dial and hands have stood the test of time well, with only minor and inconspicuous marks. The mineral crystal is brand new and free from scratches.

Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. We are sure that you like honesty, and so do we. The watch is sold as watch only: sadly no original box or paperwork are present with this piece. The original bracelet currently fits wrists with a maximum circumference of around 21cm, which should accommodate most wrists. Decreasing the size is easily achieved by removing some bracelet links.

Your newly acquired timepiece will be packaged with great care, and will be shipped out as fast as possible. We usually ship the same day your payment comes in, and provide full insurance as well as a tracking code for all of our packages. If you have any questions regarding the item or our services, please do not hesitate to reach out. We'll gladly assist as soon as we get the chance!

  • Tissot

Navigator Automatic - Vintage Mens Skin Diver Watch
    €945.00

For sale is a Swiss Made Tissot Navigator, a so-called "skin diver" men's watch with reference 44646-1X, presumably dating back to the mid 1970s. Skin divers were meant to fill the gap between full blown dive watches and non-waterproof watches. This particular model features a stainless steel case with a diameter of around 36.5mm, and a thickness of just under 14mm. The dial on this Tissot comes in a lovely matte black with white railroad track around the outer edge, and thick bright lume plots at each 5 minute mark. The lumed stick shaped hands are finished in a contrasting white, with a bright orange seconds hand for that funky 1970s flair. A domed dive watch plexiglass crystal protects the dial from the elements. Surrounding the watch face is a bi-directionally rotating bezel with glossy numerals on a black background. The crown is original and bears the Tissot logo.

Inside the watch beats an automatic Tissot 2481 Calibre: said movement was co-designed with Omega in the 1970s, and is identical to the Omega Cal. 1481: this is a testament of its build quality and reliability. The movement was entirely disassembled, cleaned and lubricated, and is working perfectly. The watch comes fitted to a brand new leather strap with generic stainless steel buckle, matching the vintage skin diver theme.

The example sold here has been worn throughout its life, which is evident by quite a bit of present but fair wear marks. The most notable damage can be found on the bezel, with a few scratches to the finish. The case is unpolished and therefore in original shape. The dial and hands have aged wonderfully, and are in as good a condition as a 1970s watch can be. The reinforced domed plexiglass is brand new and adds to the beefy look of the watch. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. We are sure that you like honesty, and so do we. Functionally, the watch has been freshly serviced with eye for authenticity, and is working perfectly. Comes as a watch only: sadly no original box or paperwork are accompanying this piece.

  • Cartier

Roadster GMT XL 42mm - Vintage Mens Automatic Watch
    €4,275.00

For sale is a very recognisable and stunningly eccentric timepiece: a Cartier Roadster GMT XL with reference number 2722. It dates back to the mid 2000s, featuring an intriguingly oversize tonneau shaped stainless steel case measuring 42mm wide and 47mm high including the lugs. The silver watch face boasts a very typical Cartier layout: elongated Roman numerals, an inner railroad track and outer 24 hour display for the GMT feature. A secondary hour hand allows the wearer to keep track of not one, but two different time zones at once: a convenient feature when travelling or keeping in touch with contacts in different time zones. All of this is well protected by the tonneau shaped sapphire crystal, with its peculiar lens bubble over the date window at 3 O'clock.

Powering the watch is a Swiss Made Chopard Calibre 8500 which is working perfectly. It features quick adjustments for both the GMT hand and date using the overly large crown. Said crown is original and helps give the watch a waterproof rating of 100m. The watch comes fitted to its original stainless steel bracelet with original Cartier folding clasp and handy quick release system. It can easily be replaced for a Cartier strap, in order to drastically change the look of the watch in seconds. Please note that the bracelet will currently fit wrists with a circumference of approximately 19.5cm at maximum. Decreasing the size is easily done by removing some bracelet links. In order to extend the bracelet size past the current maximum of 19.5cm, spare links will have to be sourced online or at a dealership.

The example sold here has been worn throughout its life, but is still in good condition. You will find minor wear marks on the case and bracelet, but no overly coarse damage. The sapphire crystal appears to be free from scratches. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. We are sure that you like honesty, and so do we. Functionally, the watch has been freshly serviced and is working perfectly. Sadly no original box is accompanying this piece, but the watch does come accompanied by all of its paperwork bundled in the original Cartier folder: the service booklet with certificate, instruction manual and international service booklet.

Your new timepiece will be packaged with great care, and will be shipped out as fast as possible. We usually ship the same day your payment comes in, and provide full insurance as well as a tracking code for all of our packages. Mercator

Automatic Day-Date - Funky Vintage Swiss Made Mens Watch - UFO / Disco Volante
    €665.00

Offered for sale is a vintage Swiss Made Mercator men's watch with reference number 71290, presumably dating back to the mid 1970s. Not much can be found on the Mercator brand, but they did make quality Swiss watches back in the day. That makes this one quite rare, as no other example can be found online. It's a funky piece at that, with an oversize "pebble" or "UFO" stainless steel case measuring 40mm in diameter and 14.5mm thick.

The dial on this particular example comes in silver sunburst finish with black outer ring and funky red raised indices, on which equally funky lacquered hands indicate the time. A date window can be found at the 3 O'clock position, with a rather quirky weekday window showing the day in Dutch at the 9 O'clock position. The watch is powered by a renowned Swiss Made ETA 2789 automatically wound movement, containing 25 jewels. The watch comes fitted to a brand new black perforated strap with generic buckle, to complete its vintage looks.

The example sold here has been worn throughout its life, but is still in decent condition. The case has been cleaned entirely, but was left unpolished to maintain its original shape. You will find wear marks on said case, most notably a few dents around 5, 6 and 7 O'clock. A brand new plexiglass crystal was fitted, as well as a new generic crown. The dial shows some minor signs of aging but otherwise the watch face has stood the test of time very well.

Sold as a watch only: sadly no box or paperwork are present with this piece.

Your newly acquired timepiece will be packaged with great care, and will be shipped out as fast as possible. The dial and hands are looking really clean, with crisp text and undamaged finish. You will find wear marks on both the case and bracelet; most notable are some marks on the lugs. The case has been cleaned entirely, but was left unpolished to maintain its original edges and curves. The crystal was replaced for a Sternkreuz sapphire crystal, and is therefore brand new. The original but damaged Rolex crystal will be included with the sale. The Jubilee bracelet is in good condition still, with normal wear and flex. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. Longines

Flagship Automatic - Ultra-Chron - Vintage 18k Yellow Gold Dress Watch
    €1,595.00

Up for sale, freshly serviced and working perfectly: a vintage Swiss Made Longines Flagship Ultra-Chron wristwatch with reference 8052. It features an 18k solid yellow gold case, measuring 35mm in diameter and just under 10mm in thickness. The dial features a lovely gold tone sunburst finish, with a calendar window placed between the 4 and 5 O'clock position. Polished and lacquered stick shaped hands indicate the time on raised black and gold tone indices.

Inside we find a very intriguing Swiss Made Longines Cal. 431, an automatic movement with a much higher beat rate than your average watch: the Ultra-Chron was one of the earliest watches to operate at 36,000 bph at a time when the standard was just half that. The movement was completely stripped down, cleaned and lubricated, and is working perfectly. The watch in its entirety was lovingly restored with eye for authenticity: the case was cleaned but not polished, to maintain its sharp edges and lines. The crystal is brand new and free from scratches. The watch came to us with a worn unsigned crown, which we replaced with a brand new unsigned example. It is however a perfect fit for the case.

The watch is in good condition considering its age, with normal wear marks to its case. The dial and hands have aged particularly well, with no real deterioration to speak of. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. We usually ship the same day your payment comes in, and provide full insurance as well as a tracking code for all of our packages. This watch features a fairly large case for its time, of which the shape somewhat resembles Omega's classic "C-shape" case design with fully integrated lugs. Said stainless steel case measures 38mm in diameter and is just over 10mm thick.

The dial on this particular example comes in a gorgeous blueish tone with purple hues in certain lighting conditions. Said dial sits fairly deeply recessed in the case, giving the overall watch face some added depth. Omega

    €8,595.00

For sale is an iconic Swiss Made Omega Constellation Automatic Chronometer with reference number 168.045, dating back to 1969 based on its serial number. The case measures 36mm wide by 40mm high, and seamlessly flows over into the integrated bracelet. Both the case and bracelet are entirely made of 18k yellow gold, and so is the dial: the "OM T Swiss Made T OM" can be found underneath the 6 O'Clock position, with OM standing for Or Massif or "solid gold" in French. It's a very hefty watch almost literally worth its weight in gold: the total weight of the watch is around 150 grams.

Behind the original Omega plexiglass crystal, we find a gold tone dial with subtle horizontally brushed finish. Luminous black lacquered hands indicate the time on raised black and gold indices. A day-date window can be found at the 3 O'Clock position. The watch is powered by a high quality Chronometer-grade automatic movement, the Omega Cal. 751. The original yellow gold bracelet and clasp (1155/146) allow this watch to be worn on a wrist with a maximum circumference of around 19.5cm. Three links can be removed to decrease the size to 16.5cm. In order to increase the size past 19.5cm, spare links will have to be sourced online or at an Omega dealership.

The example sold here is in good overall condition considering its age. The case and bracelet show normal wear marks all around, but no coarse damage. The case and bracelet were cleaned, but not polished in order to maintain the original shape. The dial has aged well, with some minor staining and a few marks here and there. The crystal is original, complete with Omega hallmark in the centre, and is in good condition still as well with normal wear marks but no coarse scratches. The crown is original too and bears the Omega logo. The watch received a full service at an Omega Authorised Service Center in Belgium on December 9 2022, and is working perfectly. Accompanying the watch is an original red Omega service box; sadly no original paperwork is present with this piece. A copy of the service invoice will be included, but private information from the previous owner will be redacted.
