For sale is a vintage Swiss Made Omega De Ville men's dress watch with reference number 395.2378, dating back to around 1991. The 32.5mm case measures just about 4mm in thickness, and features a gold inlay around the bezel of the stainless steel case. The watch comes with an integrated two tone "beads of rice" style bracelet with signed Omega clasp (Ref. 1500/820). Behind the sapphire crystal sits a champagne/gold tone dial with raised gold tone Roman numerals. Leaf style hands indicate the time, keeping the overall look of the watch face quite minimal and clean. The crown is original and bears the Omega logo.
The watch is powered by a high quality Omega 1378 quartz calibre with 8 jewels. It is based on the ETA 210.001 movement, which allows the watch case to be as slender as it is. The integrated bracelet currently fits wrists with a maximum circumference of around 16cm. Four extra bracelet links are included with the watch, allowing it to fit wrists with a maximum circumference of approximately 18 to 18.5cm. Decreasing the size is easily done by removing some bracelet links. To increase the size past the current maximum, extra links will have to be sourced online.
The example sold here has been worn, but is still in good condition. You will find minor wear marks on the case when closely examining the watch, but no coarse damage. The crystal is free from scratches. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is.
