For sale is a Swiss Made Maurice Lacroix "Obliquo" men's quartz watch with reference number 92295, presumably dating back to the late 1990s. Its intriguing case design and dial positioning make this quite the oddball timepiece. The oversize case measures approximately 42mm in diameter and just under 9mm thick, which is relatively slim for a dive watch with depth rating of 200m. The lugs and bracelet are offset and are positioned to the left side of the watch, while the dial is rotated clockwise by 1/12 turn as its name "Obliquo" would imply. The bezel rotates in a single direction, and can be locked in place using the 'crown' on top of the watch. The bottom crown can be used to adjust the hands, and screws down to prevent water ingress.
The dark grey/blackish dial features a sunburst finish, with bright luminous hands indicating the time on luminous indices with gold accents all around. A date window is positioned at the 3 O'clock position. Powering the watch is a high quality Maurice Lacroix signed ETA 955.414 quartz calibre, which received a fresh battery and is working perfectly. Fitted to the watch comes a black leather strap on the original Maurice Lacroix buckle, while the original cognac Maurice Lacroix strap is also included.
The example sold here has been worn, but is still in very good condition. There are some marks on the bezel, but otherwise the watch looks close to brand new still. The mineral glass crystal appears to be unscathed to the naked eye. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. We are sure that you like honesty, and so do we. Functionally, the watch was checked, received a new battery and is accurately keeping time.
