For sale is a gorgeous Swiss Made Baume & Mercier "Classima" ladies' watch with a lovely vintage case and integrated bracelet design. Both the 25mm case and integrated bracelet are made entirely of 18k solid gold, giving the watch a total weight of approximately 52 grams. Behind the sapphire crystal sits a beautiful Mother of Pearl dial with gold tone baton hands indicating the time on Roman numeral indices. The dial might appear white in the pictures, but the Mother of Pearl has a stunning subtle rainbow shine to it in real life. The crown is original and matches the intriguing lug design of the case perfectly. The bracelet features a jewellery style clasp which is signed with the Baume & Mercier logo, as well as a number of gold hallmarks.
The watch is powered by a Swiss Made ETA 976.001 Calibre, a high quality quartz movement with 6 jewels. The movement was checked prior to sale, received a fresh battery, and is accurately keeping time. Please do note that the bracelet is currently sized to fit wrists with a maximum circumference of around 16cm. Decreasing the size is fairly easily done by removing links, but to increasing the size you will need to source spare bracelet links online (which sadly might prove difficult).
The example sold here has been worn, but is still in lovely condition. You may find slight wear marks on the case and bracelet when closely examining the watch, but no coarse or deep scratches. The watch is unpolished and therefore in original shape, with sharp lines and edges. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. We are sure that you like honesty, and so do we. Functionally, the watch is accurately keeping time.
The watch comes without any paperwork or original box, but evidently we will provide a generic box to ship it to the buyer safe and sound. The item ships tracked and insured, will be securely packaged and dispatched using the local postal service (BPost).
