The case and clasp of the watch are adorned with high quality gemstones: 9 Brilliant cut and 4 Marquise cut rubies totalling approximately 1ct, as well as 19 brilliant cut diamonds totalling 0.39ct. The dial is kept to its bare minimum: a simplistic vertically brushed gold tone dial and baton shaped hands create a minimalist watch face.

Behind the solid gold case back is the beating heart of this watch: the ETA 101.001, an early quartz watch containing 2 jewels. It is incredibly small, almost as small as the battery itself. This watch, as the name implies, has a distinctive link with motorsports and was produced to celebrate Chopard's partnership with the famous 1000 Miglia race in Italy. Since 1988 until today, Chopard offers timeless models with resolutely sporty character tinged with deliciously retro accents, much like the rally that inspires it. The watch in question features a matte black dial with Arabic luminous numerals and a big date at the 3 O'Clock position. The polished steel hands are luminous as well, with a white second hand with red tip for that classic vintage racing look.
