The 34.5mm stainless steel case measures just under 13mm in thickness, making it fairly substantial for its era. It features a creamy silver horizontally brushed dial with applied indices and lacquered hands. The iconic Rado anchor logo on the dial can freely rotate, while two purple seahorses add the playful detail that gives this model its name. A distinctive day-date display is positioned at 6 o'clock: the day displayed vertically in white, with the date underneath it in black. Power comes from the nicely decorated Rado calibre 2798 automatic movement, based on the ever reliable ETA 2789 known for its robustness.
