In this period Queen Victoria lost her beloved King Albert, therefore mourning jewellery became more popular in this period. We are delighted to show you this marvellous cross of Lorraine. It is not only a delicate, well made cross, it also shows Joan of Arc. Joan of Arc might be one of the most famous heroines in history, a martyr, who was burned at the stake. In 1920, she became the Patron Saint of France.

This double barred cross is a light charm with a lot of detail. It has been loved and worn a lot. We can tell by the fact that it is a little bit bend, because the top layer of detailles is a little rubbed off and because the bail has been repaired. Because of this, the hallmark is gone. Yet we believe that this is a French made pendant which we tested for solid 18k gold.

We absolutely adore this pendant and hope to find a warm and treasuring home for it.

We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the late Victorian period. We are even happier to let you know that this lovely brooch holds a secret locket compartment. This locket is fully equipped to keep two round pictures safe thanks to their little glasses and decorated gold frames which you can remove in order to place the pictures below the glass. You have to open the locket from the back, it is not very easy to open, so it is not a 'I will look at the pictures daily kind of locket, yet a great way to keep your loved ones close.

This collar brooch is crafted 18 K solid gold and features stunning geometrical decoration. In the center of this beauty, we find a small but bright pinkish ruby. This little gemstone is encircled with black enamel, painted in the shape of a flower. To be encircled in turn by many triangle and diamond shaped engravings. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. This antique brooch is equipped with a trombone closure which was first used in the late nineteenth century. This stunning brooch is hallmarked with a French eagle head, on the locket-clasp as well as on its pin.

We love this wonderful example of an Art Nouveau brooch crafted during the late Napoleon III era in France. We love the way the artist united the elegant flowing natural forms with angular contours giving it a strong and magical look. We love its high and rich carat, the colour tones and of course its wonderful design.

It is set with exceptionally large rose cut diamonds. These stunning diamonds are in perfect condition and foil back set like all diamonds during that period, this is a special technique that was used to bring the lustre of the diamonds to its best quality.

This stunning cross is made in 18k yellow gold and is in good condition considering its age. It appears that this cross had a repair on the back and that it has some dents on central part of the back.

We adore this cross because Georgian jewelry is rather rare as when time passed most worn out, was melted or taken apart and re-used for more modern designs. This beautiful and generous cross pendant is a real treat for the eye. This art deco pendant is fully set with diamonds that are all decorated and put in the spotlight by millegraine detailing and finishes which make them appear as one. The main shape of the cross is set with twenty-four single cut diamonds. These are all of SI-P quality according to the current 21st century standards, although this quality is the most common quality used for beautiful antique jewelry like this one. In total this cross holds approx. 1,6 ct of diamonds. 

In the center of the cross we find an old European cut diamond with SI quality and with an approx weight of 0,25 ct. This pendant has beautiful open-work parts.
