Offered for sale is a vintage Swiss Made Omega Seamaster 600 men's dress watch with reference 135.011, presumably dating back to 1965 based on its serial number. The watch features a gold plated case measuring 34.5mm in diameter and just under 10mm in thickness, housing a creamy champagne sunburst dial. Polished luminous stick shaped hands indicate the time on raised black and gold tone indices. The watch is powered by a renowned Omega 601 manually wound movement, which is working perfectly.
The example sold here has been worn throughout its life, but is still in decent condition considering its age. You will certainly find wear marks on the case, but no overly coarse damage. Most notable is some fading of the gold plating on the edges of the lugs, as well as a small chip on the inside edge of the bottom right lug. The dial is in decent condition still, with a few minor marks mostly towards the 10 O'clock position. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. The watch was lovingly restored with eye for authenticity, and has received a full service prior to being listed for sale. The movement was completely stripped down, cleaned and lubricated, and is working perfectly. The case was cleaned but not polished, to maintain its sharp edges and lines. The crown and crystal are not original: the crystal is brand new, made by Sternkreuz and a perfect replacement for the original Omega PX5005. The watch comes fitted to a brand new perforated black leather strap, ready to wear. Sold as watch only: sadly no original box or paperwork are present with this piece.
