The watch features a yellow gold capped case, measuring 34mm in diameter and just over 11.5mm in thickness. This makes it a fairly large watch for its age. The dial on this particular example comes in a creamy off-white silver finish. Polished gold tone luminous Lance shaped hands indicate the time on raised gold tone indices. Inside the watch sits a fairly special and relatively rare Omega 591 automatic movement, which is freshly serviced and working perfectly. The watch comes on a quality golden brown Hirsch "Boston" leather strap with quick release spring bars and generic gold plated buckle, ready to wear.
The example sold here has been worn, but is in decent condition considering its age. You will find wear marks on the case and lugs, but no overly coarse damage. Most notable is a small ding to the bezel in between 12 and 1 O'clock. The case has been cleaned thoroughly, but was left unpolished to maintain its original edges and curves. A brand new generic plexiglass crystal was fitted. The crown is original and signed with the Omega logo, but the gold plating has faded slightly on the edges. The dial has aged well, with a few minor blemishes and some yellowing patina.
Functionally, the watch has received a full service prior to sale and is working perfectly. The movement was entirely disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and regulated.
