Up for sale is this vintage 18K Yellow Gold and Diamond Ladies' watch with reference 895.406, made in Switzerland by Omega in the mid 1980s based on its serial number. The yellow gold watch case and integrated bracelet flow over seamlessly into one another. The factory set diamond bezel contains 34 brilliant cut high quality diamonds worth a total of approximately 0.34ct. The gold tone dial is kept to its bare minimum: simplistic gold tone hour indexes combined with gold Dauphine style hands create a minimalist watch face. The crown is original and bears the Omega logo. Behind the solid gold case back sits a high quality Omega quartz movement with caliber reference 1459B. Thanks to the incorporation of this movement, the watch case can be kept as thin as 4mm.
The watch is sold as pre-owned and vintage, however it still is in good shape considering its age. You will find wear marks on the case and bracelet when closely examining the watch, but no coarse damage. The crystal is free from scratches and the dial looks fairly minty still. The bracelet links are somewhat worn. One screw for the case back is different than the other three, but is perfectly functional and secure. Please do study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. Please do note that the integrated bracelet currently fits wrists with a maximum circumference of around 18cm.
