We are thrilled to show you these magnificent Dutch heirlooms. These antique earrings are crafted in 18 karat solid yellow gold with a champagne hue. These earrings were most likely crafted at the end of the 19th century around 1880. They were worn by women in some parts of the Netherlands and represent the rich cultural heritage the Netherlands has to offer.

The rose-yellow gold bases are covered with very well detailled orangy-coloured gold flowers holding a small dot in their center. These two flowers with green-coloured leafs are 3D placed on top of the bases. The top of each earring holds a white natural, claw set pearl. Small dangling pendants at the bottom of the earrings finish the romantic yet playful look. We like to mention that one of the earrings had a little repair done many many years ago as visible in the pictures while the base of the other earring has a little dent. These long earrings are light and therefore the perfect earrings to wear all day long. They will move and swing smoothly while you are walk around to show them off, like they should.

We love these European beauties, which date back to the Victorian era, because they represent everything that was common during this period. We adore its grandeur, the elegant shapes and floral forms that are very well created and preserved. These earrings are in very good condition, especially considering their age.

For sale is this wonderful Victorian 18 Karat solid yellow gold Jet pendant. The front is decorated with many small and larger pearls set in a star shaped formation. Onyx jewelry were mostly worn in The Grand Victorian Era, between ca. 1861-1880. In this period Queen Victoria lost her beloved King Albert, therefore mourning jewellery became more popular in this period, since widows were expected to wear full mourning for two years. This would mean that they would only wear black clothes, symbolic of spiritual darkness, just like their jewelry. They had to be as black as possible. The bright buttery gold and white half pearls stand out magically against the dark background they shine like a glimmer of hope in the dark night.

This locket pendant is in very good condition considering its age. It holds a glass compartment which can keep a picture, lock of hair or anything flat in place and safe. On top of that is it hallmarked with a French eagle head and makers mark. We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Art Nouveau period. This collar brooch is crafted 18 Karat solid yellow gold and features stunning hand engraved star shaped decoration in the center, which is holding a lovely rose cut diamond. The outerside of this light brooch is decorated with scrolls, petals, floral shapes and a small but detailed rose.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a long pin typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. For sale is this lovely 14k yellow gold pendant. This lovely pendant is a replica of the Minoan Bees, also known as the Bees of Malia. The pendant is hallmarked with a 585 mark and unfortunately the back is a bit damaged as visible in the pictures.

The original artifact was found in 1930 in Malia, Crete, Greece and dates back to the early Minoan civilisation 1800-1650 BC. This royal charm features two bees, heraldically arranged around a bee hive. They are both feeding on a honey drop. Three gold droplets represent a bountiful pollen harvest, and just below the bale sits the crown of the Queen Bee.These bees represent the fecundity of the earth and the cyclical rhythms of life and death. Furthermore the Minoans likely viewed bees as guardians of nature's bounty, their buzzing presence a sign of the interconnectedness of all living things.

They are in turn encircled by four petal-shapes detailled with handmade engravings. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a long pin typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. This light stunning brooch holds no hallmark but is tested for 18 karat solid gold.

This gorgeous high society opera lorgnette is crafted out of 18 karat solid yellow gold in France. This lovely detailed throughout attribute is engraved by hand and has a very royal appearance. Like most Victorian jewelry, in the center of this glasses-cover we find a graceful flower that is surrounded by elegant and floral curls. The many details and all the extra small engravings ensure that this large pendant is breathtakingly beautiful.

This Victorian heirloom is marked with French eagle heads and a makers mark AG. The glasses itself are in a very good condition considering their age. There are no big scratches in the glass, only some small cut-outs at the edges of the glass as you can see in the pictures. These folding glasses are provided with a hidden activation lever for the spring-load mechanism, so the glasses pop open once you pressed this release clasp.

This type of accessory were a common sight at the opera and theatre during the 19th century. They were the stylish and royal precursor to modern opera glasses. Freely translate the french word lorgnette means 'to eye furtively' meaning it was used for more than only to see the opera itself. Especially by curios rich ladies in the balconies who, due to etiquette, were not allowed to look behind them to discover who entered their box and with whom this new spectator came to see the opera. Therefor they used these glasses as a secret mirror too, using the glasses reflection. I just tried it and I was amazed by the fact that it worked perfectly.

This marvellous flower ring is made in 18 karat solid yellow gold and decorated with three rounds loking like sparkling stones. These represent pure love, they stand for the past, the present and the future together with your lover. 

This lovely ring dates back to the Art Nouveau period at the end of English Queen Victoria's reign and is hallmarked with a French horse head mark. This particular hors-head hallmark is a French hallmark that was set in gold jewelry between 1838 and 1919.

This wonderful 18 karat solid gold floral brooch comes directly from the Art Nouveau period. Round with a hexagon look in shape, this lovely antique brooch represents a beautiful flower bouquet. The brooch itself is a plain round disc with hand-made engravings set with little seed pearls which form the head of the flowers. Around the disc we see a twisted ribbon forming a hexagon shape as if it are woven branches, while six small pearls ensure this brooch to be elegant and classy. The clasp is a good functioning pin with a c-clasp. This yellow gold brooch is not hallmarked and therefor tested for 18k gold and finds it origin in west-Europe.

This wonderful late Victorian brooch comes directly from the floral Art Nouveau period and is made in 18 karat solid yellow gold. This antique brooch features an elegant scolls, leafs and floral shapes. In the center of this flower themed brooch we see a small but very elegant pearl. The safety pin itself is marked with a makers mark and stays in place inside a C-clasp which is in turn marked with a French eagle head. Did you know that these pins are much longer than modern pins because the fabric of clothes used to be much ticker? The C clasp on this brooch has been repaired by the previous owner with a more white solder. The brooch itself discoloured a bit because of heating on the side of the C clasp, as visible in the pictures.

It is crafted in 18 karat solid yellow gold and depict a magnificent scarab, in ancient Egypt, the scarab represented rebirth and resurrection. The scarab is a type of large black dung beetle known for its habit of rolling little balls of dung across the ground. This is part of the reason scarabs were revered by ancient Egyptians, who saw a parallel between this dung-rolling and their own sun god's daily rolling of the sun across the sky. This 3D beauty is very well detailed and can be worn on both sides. It is marked with an Egyptian 18K gold mark.
