A high quality movement with features such as a Breguet overcoil hairspring and a bi-metallic balance wheel with expansion cuts to help compensate for temperature changes.

A brand new and correct "Double Brace & Hole End" mainspring was installed to replace the very tired blue steel mainspring. The case was thoroughly cleaned, but left unpolished to maintain its patina and originality. The hinged case back is fairly thin and has a number of minor dents, as is usually the case. It depicts an ornate emblem or shield on which one would usually find an engraved monogram, but in this case the room for said engraving is still blank. The metal dust cover underneath the case back is decorated with the Omega brand as well as a number of medals, the most recent one dating back to 1914. A brand new plexiglass crystal was fitted. The watch comes fitted to its original 18k solid yellow gold bracelet with hidden folding clasp. Please be aware that said bracelet is currently sized to fit a wrist with maximum circumference of around 16.5cm. Resizing the bracelet to fit smaller wrists can easily be done by removing some links. In order to increase the size of the bracelet past 16.5cm, extra bracelet links will have to be sourced online or at a dealership.

Freshly serviced and working perfectly: an almost antique Swiss Made Omega pocket watch. This piece dates back to 1930 based on the sales certificate, and boasts a solid 18k Yellow Gold case which measures 46.5mm in diameter. The watch face features a white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and rose gold tone Breguet style hands. A sub dial at the 6 O'Clock position counts down the seconds, with "Importé de Suisse" written above it. Considering its age and fragility, the dial is in great condition. No chips or cracks can be found, and all lettering is still sharp and clear.

Inside we find a Swiss Made Omega 35.5L-T1 movement, a high quality movement with features such as a Breguet overcoil hairspring and a bi-metallic balance wheel with expansion cuts to help compensate for temperature changes.

The watch was lovingly restored with eye for authenticity. Its movement was completely disassembled, cleaned and lubricated, and is now working perfectly for years to come. A brand new and correct "Double Brace and Hole End" mainspring was installed to replace the very tired blue steel mainspring. The case was thoroughly cleaned, but left unpolished to maintain its patina and originality. The case and hinged back show quite a lot of dents, as is usually the case since said shell is fairly thin. It is hand engraved with a beautiful monogram, depicting the letters S and C intertwined with one another. A brand new plexiglass crystal was fitted.

Accompanying the pocket watch and rarely seen, is its original sales certificate dating back to August 16, 1930. The document explains how to treat your newly acquired pocket watch, and details the warranty for Omega watches at the time. A beautifully ornate piece of paper, which sadly was folded and consecutively sheared in half, but still a very intriguing addition to the watch.

Up for sale is a vintage "Happy Diamonds" ladies' cocktail watch with reference number 4097, made by the renowned Swiss luxury watchmaker and jeweller Chopard. Chopard's "Happy Diamonds" line of watches always feature floating diamonds sandwiched behind transparent windows, as is the case for this stunning piece. Five mobile diamonds sit between the see-through circular bezel around the watch face, floating around with the movement of the wrist. The watch face itself features a gold tone dial with minimal Chopard logo and polished gold hands, surrounded by two concentric bezels adorned with high quality diamonds. The elegant 24mm 18k solid yellow gold watch case and mesh bracelet flow seamlessly into one another, and the jewellery clasp at the end of the bracelet is signed with the signature "C" for Chopard. Inside, we find a high quality Chopard 201 "Mini-Quartz" movement, its name not being an understatement: the movement is barely larger than its battery.

The example sold here has been worn, but is still in good condition. You will find minor wear marks on the case and bracelet, the most notable one being a small dent in the gold ring around the dial at the 2 O'clock position. Said case has been cleaned thoroughly, but was left unpolished to maintain its original edges and curves. The sapphire crystal as a few very minor wear marks as well, but almost indistinguishable with the naked eye. The case and bracelet are adorned with a total of 84 fixed diamonds worth approximately 0,78ct, and 5 mobile diamonds worth approximately 0,28ct. Please note that the bracelet is not drastically resizeable, and will fit wrists with a circumference in between 16 and 17.5cm. The clasp has three small adjustment settings, allowing the user to increase or decrease the size in increments of around 5mm. The ideal wrist size would be estimated at approximately 17cm, where the watch fits not too tightly or loosely. Accompanying the watch are an original Chopard presentation box, warranty card and technical information leaflet.
