For sale is a Swiss Made Bucherer ladies' watch with reference number 976-166. Bucherer (Est. 1888) is one of the largest European luxury watch and jewellery retailers, who for the longest time have been selling the most prestigious brands (Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Piaget among others) as well as their own Bucherer brand. The watch sold here is such an in-house piece, purchased in August 2000. Both the 20mm case and integrated bracelet are made of 18k solid gold, giving the watch a total weight of just over 71 grams. Behind the sapphire crystal sits a beautiful silver textured dial set with 4 single cut diamonds worth approximately 0,06ct. Surrounding said dial, the bezel is set with 62 brilliant cut diamonds worth approximately 0,75ct. The crown is original and bears the Bucherer logo. The bracelet features a double fold clasp which is signed with the Bucherer logo, as well as a number of gold hallmarks.
The watch is powered by a high quality Bucherer signed quartz movement with 6 jewels, based on the Swiss Made ETA 976.001. The movement was checked prior to sale, received a fresh battery, and is accurately keeping time. Please do note that the bracelet is currently sized to fit wrists with a maximum circumference of around 18cm. One spare link is included, allowing it to fit wrists with a maximum circumference of around 18.5-19cm. Decreasing the size is fairly easily done by removing links, increasing the size past 19cm will be near impossible as spare bracelet links may not be easily sourced.
The example sold here has been worn, but is still in lovely condition. You may find very minor wear marks on the case and bracelet when closely examining the watch, but no coarse or deep scratches. The watch is unpolished and therefore in original shape, with sharp lines and edges. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. We are sure that you like honesty, and so do we. Functionally, the watch is accurately keeping time.
