Said bracelet is crafted from a flexible stainless steel mesh that sits very comfortably on the wrist, and gives the watch a distinct and recognisable look. It can easily be swapped for any 18mm leather strap, such as the soft pink one included. The polished stainless steel watch case measures 32.5mm by 21.5mm and is just 6mm thick. The dial is decorated with a flower pattern typical for Pierre Balmain, who is known to have had a love for Middle-Eastern art and its floral "Arabesque" motifs. Dauphine hands indicate the time on Roman numerals. The crown is original and bears a deep black cabochon stone. The watch is powered by a high quality ETA Calibre 901.005, a Swiss Made quartz movement that is working perfectly.
The example sold here has been worn throughout its life, but is still in lovely overall condition. You will find some minor wear marks on both the case and bracelet, but no overly coarse damage. The crystal looks unscathed to the naked eye.
