For sale is a Swiss Made Omega Genève Automatic with reference number 166.070, which can be dated back to around 1969. The Genève line was used to designate watches by Omega that fell more into the dress watch category, which is what this watch embodies. A minimalist 34.5mm stainless steel case houses a silver sunburst dial. Obélisque type hands indicate the hours, minutes and seconds on non-numeral chrome and onyx indexes. A calendar window can be found at the 3O'Clock position. Said date can be quickset by pulling the crown to its outmost position, then pushing it in again. The crown is original bearing the Omega logo. Inside the watch we find a renowned caliber 565 automatic movement, which has been freshly serviced and is perfectly keeping time. A black calfskin leather strap with white stitching and original Omega buckle comes fitted to the watch.

The example sold here has been worn throughout its life, but is still in wonderful condition considering its age. You will find some marks on the case when closely examining the watch. The case is unpolished and therefore in original shape. The glass has been replaced and is free of any damage. Most notable is the stains on the hour hand, as well as slight markings on the dial around the center.
