This fine antique brooch is a fabulous jewel of a fabulous beast. This 18K gold brooch has the horse head hallmark which reveals us this brooch is crafted in France between 1838 and 1919. This is the time Queen Victoria was the reign of England, since she was very influential, she also influenced the goldsmiths in France and other European countries. Therefore we can say this is an Victorian Brooch crafted in France.

The beast shown on the brooch is a wyvern. It’s a mythical beast which was very popular in tales told in the Middle Ages. It’s a biped legendary creature with legs which look like eagle claws, the head and wings of a dragon, a reptile body and a tail ending in the shape of an arrow. In contradiction to the most common dragons now a day, these wyverns only have two legs and don’t breath fire. In cultures around the Mediterranean this concept of winged snakes was very popular. During Victoria’s era, this creature was seen as a talisman against evil.

This impressive example of antique French jewellery is a fine example of craftsmanship. The details in this brooch are extraordinary and well preserved. The tail of this wyvern ends in acantus leafs and his wings are almost coming alive thanks to the engravings. Furthermore he holds a beautiful old mine cut diamond of approximately 0,14ct in his right claw and is ready to attack any evil that comes close.

We are happy to introduce you to this lovely work of art from the 1980's. This collar brooch is crafted 18 K solid gold and depicts a lovely flowing ribbon forming a marvellous bow. In the center of this beauty, we find nineteen brilliant cut diamonds depicting the knot of the bow. While the bows itself are decorated with wonderful carré cut sapphires, twenty seven to be exact.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. It is equipped with a safety closure. This stunning brooch is hallmarked with a French eagle head, ensuring us that this beauty is made in solid 18k yellow gold.

For sale is this wonderful late Victorian 18 K yellow gold clover. This yellow gold clover is decorated with white gold leafs on each lobe and holds a half seed pearl in its center. The brooch is hallmarked with a French horse head. This particular hors-head hallmark is a French hallmark that was set in gold jewelry between 1838 and 1919. Meaning that this ring is dating back to the French Napoleon III period during English Queen Victoria's reign.

Furthermore, each clover-leaf stands for something, the first leaf is for hope, the second is for faith, and the third is for charity. It is also said that it would be in the image of God: a single plant with three lobes, which represents the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. It is equipped with a C closure and a long pin typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. For sale is this lovely bulky star themed ring. This pink gemstone Tank ring is made in 18 k pinkish Yellow gold and marked with a 750 and a makers mark. This type of ring is called a Tank ring thanks to to the Tanks of the Second World War. These tank rings where mostly created during the 40's and are a perfect example of the retro style. They are heavy, voluminous and have often asymmetrical forms.

Two large bulb shaped forms steal the show. One of them is made in yellow gold and set with little white dots, while the other one is made out of a more pinkish gold and set with two swiss cut pink gemstones -which we believe are pink sapphires- while engraved with many little stars. The star like cutting of the rubies give the ring some extra sparkle.

For sale is this late 18 k gold retro necklace. This necklace checks of all the characteristics of the typical retro jewelry, little to no gemstones (because these were more difficult to obtain during and in the beginning after the war) and frequent use of gold. There is always a lot of gold in these jewels, in cheerful and pompous shapes. Goldsmiths showed all the manufacturing possibilities of gold by working and processing them in one jewel in different ways.

This pearl necklace is made out of two popcorn necklaces coming together through a gold hoop. At the end of both chains Two pearls lighten up the necklace. This absolute beauty is in good condition considering its age, although we have have to mention that this necklace had two repairs where the popcorn chain itself touches the gold hoop. These repairs are not that visible when worn because they where at the backside of the necklace, although there is a small colour difference due to the repair.

This retro beauty with two tassel drops is marked with a 750 mark, an Italian Makers mark from Verona from before 1970 and is crafted in 18 ct yellow gold. This necklace really has it all. We are thrilled to show you these magnificent Dutch heirlooms. These antique earrings are crafted in 18 ct yellow, patina champagne-toned gold. These earrings were most likely crafted at the end of the 19th century around 1880. They were worn by women in some parts of the Netherlands and represent the rich cultural heritage the Netherlands has to offer.

The champagne tone bases are covered with very well detailled flowers holding a rose cut paste stone. These two flowers with many leafs are 3D placed on top of the bases. The top of each earring holds a white natural, claw set pearl. These long earrings are light and therefore the perfect earrings to wear all day long. This lovely 18 k Yellow gold ring holds the most beautiful and popular love medallion of all times. This lovely medallion depicts a small cross and minus. Inside the plus we find a small but pretty and sparkly rose cut diamond. The minus is set with two baguette cut rubies. This beauty is marked with a makers mark from Augis and an other makers mark. When we look closely we see a small inscription in the medallion. Namely A.Augis, which stands for Alphonse Augis. He was a famous jeweller from Lyon who started making these types of love medallions.

We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the late Victorian period. This pendant was originally a collar brooch. This charm is crafted 18 K solid gold and features stunning floral yet geometrical decorations. In the centre of this beauty, we find seven half pearls set in a floral star-shaped setting. It is set centre of a well detailled elevated part of the pendant with handmade engravings, representing blooming flowers, petals and scrolls.. This floral centre is encircled by 6 small forget-me-not flowers. And last but not least, the simple base on which this whole is set, makes it adorned centre pop out even more. We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the late Victorian period. This collar brooch is crafted 18 K solid gold and features stunning geometrical decoration. In the center of this beauty, we find a cathedral set rose cut diamond. This little diamond is encircled with small half pearls set arranged in the shape of a flower. This geometrical diamond and pearl center flower is encircled with a textured circle which is in turn encircled with flowerlike petals set with  four little pearls. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a long pin typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. This light stunning brooch is not hallmarked but spectro tested for 18k gold.

For sale are these adorable antique earrings crafted during the Georgian era 1714-1830. These beauties are set with foil-backed rose cut diamonds, arranged in a flower formation. The gemstones are set in silver backed with gold as was typical at this time because jewellers believed that silver was the only material able to enhance the beauty of diamonds. We have to admit that it is a wonderful combination and a very recognisable combination to this Georgian era. The gold layer on the back was to prevent the wearers skin to turn black from the silver, very smart right? They bear no hallmark but we believe that they are of Dutch or Belgium origin with later replaced screw back in 14 ct yellow gold.

For sale is this lovely bulky Rose Cut diamond ring. This Tank ring is made in 18 karat rose gold and set with ten rose cut diamonds. This type of ring is called a Tank ring thanks to to the Tanks of the Second World War. These tank rings where mostly created during the 40's and 50's, as is this one, it is a perfect example of the retro style. In the middle between the six little rose cut diamonds, set in star shaped setings, there is a central vertical line with some additional rose cut diamonds that steal the show. It are four larger rose cut diamonds that give the ring some extra sparkle in their platina setting. We adore this marvellous ring. It is Bombastic, yet elegant and holds one of our favorite diamonds, rose cuts.

This wonderful Victorian eagle brooch stole our hearts the second we laid eyes on it. This antique brooch features a wonderful flying eagle and we believe that it is marked with a French horse head, yet it is only a very small part of it that is visible so we can't be 100% sure, we therefore spectro tested it for 18karat gold. This particular hors-head hallmark is a French hallmark that was set in gold jewelry between 1838 and 1919. An antique cut ruby set in the snakes head bings the right amount of colour to the brooch. This brooch is in working condition with a safety hook and pin. This lovely brooch is in very good condition considering its age, it has a little hook at the bottom to attach a small pocket watch or a pendant. On top of that it has a small hoop at the eagles mouth so you can attach a pearl or small charm there.

An Eagle is often the symbol of bravery, it is meant to encourage and inspire people to reaching higher. To push your limits to see what you can do. Eagles should bring a sense of courage and a desire to explore in order to grow.

We are thrilled to show you these magnificent Dutch heirlooms. These antique earrings are crafted in 18 ct yellow gold. These earrings were most likely crafted at the end of the 19th century around 1880. They were worn by women in some parts of the Netherlands and represent the rich cultural heritage the Netherlands has to offer.

The yellow gold bases are covered with very well detailled orangy-coloured gold flowers holding a white natural pearl. These two flowers with many green-coloured leafs are 3D placed on top of the bases. The top of each earring holds a white natural, claw set pearl, just like the small dangling pendants at the bottom of the earrings. We like to mention that one of the larger pearls is a little damaged and that one of the earrings had a little repair done many many years ago as visible in the pictures. These long earrings are light and therefore the perfect earrings to wear all day long. They will move and swing smoothly while you are walk around to show them off, like they should.

We love these European beauties, which date back to the Victorian era, because they represent everything that was common during this period. We adore its grandeur, the elegant shapes and floral forms that are very well created and preserved. These earrings are in very good condition, especially considering their age.

We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the late Victorian period. We are even happier to let you know that this lovely brooch holds a secret locket compartment. This locket is fully equipped to keep two round pictures safe thanks to their little glasses and decorated gold frames which you can remove in order to place the pictures below the glass. You have to open the locket from the back, it is not very easy to open, so it is not a 'I will look at the pictures daily kind of locket, yet a great way to keep your loved ones close.

This collar brooch is crafted 18 K solid gold and features stunning geometrical decoration. In the center of this beauty, we find a small but bright pinkish ruby. This little gemstone is encircled with black enamel, painted in the shape of a flower. To be encircled in turn by many triangle and diamond shaped engravings. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. This antique brooch is equipped with a trombone closure which was first used in the late nineteenth century. This stunning brooch is hallmarked with a French eagle head, on the locket-clasp as well as on its pin.

We love this wonderful example of an Art Nouveau brooch crafted during the late Napoleon III era in France. We love the way the artist united the elegant flowing natural forms with angular contours giving it a strong and magical look.
