We are happy to introduce you to this lovely work of art from the 1980's. This collar brooch is crafted 18 K solid gold and depicts a lovely flowing ribbon forming a marvellous bow. In the center of this beauty, we find nineteen brilliant cut diamonds depicting the knot of the bow. While the bows itself are decorated with wonderful carré cut sapphires, twenty seven to be exact.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. It is equipped with a safety closure. This stunning brooch is hallmarked with a French eagle head, ensuring us that this beauty is made in solid 18k yellow gold.

We love the way the artist united the elegant flowing natural forms with the sparkling diamond knot in the centre, giving it a strong and magical look. We love its high and rich carat, the colour tones and of course its wonderful design.

This exquisite diamond geometrically-designed Art Deco brooch is crafted out of platinum. This precious metal has only just been introduced in the jewellery industry during this period. This platinum brooch is mounted with ninety-seven old cut diamonds. Which were cut to reflect candle light in the most beautiful ways. Art deco was a popular style movement from the beginning of the 20th century. It was eclectic, art deco is a pastiche of the many different styles that preceded it. It combined previous styles with the new upcoming industrial one which was often contradictory. Traditional motifs were complemented by a tighter look that was influenced by the latest technologies opposed to art nouveau, which was very organic.

Regarding the diamonds, the centre of this marvellous brooch is set with a pretty old European cut diamond with an approx weight of 0,5ct. Thirty-eight of other diamonds set in this brooch are old European cuts and are each between approx 0.17ct and 0.03ct. The other diamonds are single cuts all between 0.03ct and 0.015ct each. The makers of this brooch choose the places well for the old cut diamonds, they are symmetrical set, each corner is set with one, just like the central lines, to ensure this brooch to sparkle as bright as possible. All diamonds are of great colour and clarity.

The closure is a trombone gasp which was mainly used in Europe from the beginning till the mid-20th century. It’s an improved security on the clasp which was more fragile before. Like all things they kept improving the clasps of brooches. Later that century a new clasp was invented as a result of which this clasp was no longer made. This trombone clasp has an extra feature, you have to turn the lock to unlock the sliding function of the brooch. Something we haven't seen before, so this beauty must have been made by a very clever and proud goldsmith, who adores this lovely piece he made. The pin and clasp are working perfectly, The brooch itself is made in Platinum, while the pin itself is made in 18k white gold.

We love this brooch because the open work gives this heavy jewel an airy look. The diamonds and geometric design ensure that this jewel is balanced and peaceful but at the same time striking and dazzling. From classic to modern, festive to casual, this antique brooch can be combined with anything.

These diamonds are placed in a circle around a central one, making it look like one large diamond. For sale is antique flower shaped ring which stole our hearts the minute we laid eyes on her. This marvellous floral ring is made in 18 karat solid yellow gold and set with little but romantic rose cut diamonds. These diamonds where set in the shape of a flower with eight petals. The centre of the ring  holds a white pearl. The ring is in ok condition, but has some small flaws. Moreover, none of the diamonds is in mint condition. But this beauty is authentic and old and that makes that we absolutely adore it. This ring is most likely crafted around 1890 in Belgium during English Queen Victoria's reign. There are some traces of wear because of its age and the fact that this ring is a beauty which is most likely loved a lot by its previous owners. As a late 19th century's jewel, this ring is the perfect addition to your collection.

Victorian French old miner cut diamond ribbon brooch in Silver and solid 18 karat gold.

We are delighted to introduce you to this French mid 19th century beauty. This bow shaped brooch is set with antique old mine cut diamonds as well as with rose cut diamonds. A dazzling 98 diamonds were set in this brooch to take your breath away. With the larges eleven in the center. An old mine cut diamond with an approx weight of 0,4 carat is encircled with ten rose cut diamonds. These authentic natural diamonds are all set in silver, backed with gold as was typical at this time. They did this because jewellers believed that silver was the only material able to enhance the beauty of diamonds. We have to admit that it is a wonderful combination and a very recognisable style to this early Victorian era. The gold layer on the back was to prevent the wearers skin to turn black from the silver, very smart right

This jewel, dating back to circa 1850's, is in very good condition considering its age. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds. The brooch is functioning well and equipped with a C closure with a longer pin, typical for this period since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. A small but sturdy hook makes it possible to wear a pendant or pocket watch below the brooch. This stunning brooch is hallmarked with a French eagle head which is in use since 1838. Furthermore it is hallmarked with a French boar head, the guarantee mark for silver which was used since 1838 aswel.

For sale is this stunning Victorian brooch. This royal diamond brooch was most likely made in Belgium or France in the middle of the 19th century. It is set with exceptionally large rose cut diamonds. These stunning diamonds are in very good condition and foil back set like most diamonds during that period, this is a special technique that was used to bring the lustre of the diamonds to its best quality. A crescent shape set with seven large rose cut diamonds is the central part of this piece. Floral shapes, small hand made engravings and twisted gold ropes finish off the large base of this brooch. Meanwhile small dangling flowers set with tiny rose cut diamonds ensure that this piece is a joyful treasure. This extraordinary brooch is made in 18k yellow gold and is in very good condition considering its age. We choose not to polish it in any way. This results in some parts still having their patina colours which they gained over the years.

We adore this brooch because of all its lustre, moreover what is not to love about this beauty. Furthermore because Victorian jewels like this one, are rather rare as when time passed, most are worn out, were melted or taken apart and re-used for more modern designs. This lovely 18 karat Yellow gold ring holds the most beautiful and popular love medallion of all times. Plus qu'hier et moins que demain. This lovely medallion depicts a small cross and minus in the places of the words 'plus' and 'moins'. The cross is set with a small but sparkly single cut diamond while the minus is set with two synthetic rubies. When we look closely we see a small inscription in the medallion. Namely A.Augis, which stands for Alphonse Augis. He was a famous jeweller from Lyon who started making these types of love medallions.

This stunning floral themed bar brooch is set with a bright blue sapphire, which give this beauty a strong and attractive appearance. For sale are these adorable antique earrings crafted during the Georgian era 1714-1830. These beauties are set with foil-backed rose cut diamonds, arranged in a flower formation. The gemstones are set in silver backed with gold as was typical at this time because jewellers believed that silver was the only material able to enhance the beauty of diamonds. We have to admit that it is a wonderful combination and a very recognisable combination to this Georgian era. The gold layer on the back was to prevent the wearers skin to turn black from the silver, very smart right? They bear no hallmark but we believe that they are of Dutch or Belgium origin with later replaced screw back in 14 ct yellow gold.

Four Sapphires were specially cut for this treasure. They fit perfectly, are still in great condition considering the age of the pendant and are deep blue, triangle shaped and convex.


The centre holds a larger brilliant cut diamond set in a squared platinum setting decorated with small dots. The rest of the cross is set on the arms itself, twenty-eight smaller single cut diamond are placed in line into platinum rectangles to make them appear as one sparkling line. Moreover they added even smaller rose cut diamonds next to the sapphires to make the line as perfect as possible. The bail itself holds one single cut diamond and is attached to a brilliant cut diamond on top of the cross. These platinum parts are decorated with dots and filigree as well. This antique pendant is most likely crafted around 1900's in Western Europe, in this Belle époque period, jewels were often made out of 16k gold and platinum. It holds a total of approximately 0,25 ct diamonds. All diamonds are SI2-P and therefore of bad quality using todays standards, yet we often see this quality used in diamond jewelry from this era. This wonderful Art Deco bar brooch stole our hearts the second we laid eyes on it. This antique brooch features a wonderful oval rose cut diamond in its center. Which was cut to reflect candle light in the most beautiful ways. This lovely gem is flanked by two lines of platinum set with many additional rose cut diamonds, arranged from big to smaller. Art deco was a popular style movement from the beginning of the 20th century. It was eclectic, art deco is a pastiche of the many different styles that preceded it. It combined previous styles with the new upcoming industrial one which was often contradictory. Traditional motifs were complemented by a tighter look that was influenced by the latest technologies opposed to art nouveau, which was very organic.

The closure is a trombone gasp which was mainly used in Europe from the beginning till the mid-20th century. It’s an improved security on the clasp which was more fragile before. Like all things they kept improving the clasps of brooches. Later that century a new clasp was invented as a result of which this clasp was no longer made. The pin and clasp are working perfectly. The brooch itself is made in 18 karat solid yellow gold, while the top of the pin is made out of platinum to make the diamonds appear as one sparkling line.

We love this brooch, its gemstone and material use. The diamonds and geometric design ensure that this jewel is balanced and peaceful but at the same time striking and dazzling. From classic to modern, festive to casual, this antique brooch can be combined with anything.

We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Art Nouveau period. This collar brooch is crafted 18 Karat solid yellow gold and features stunning hand engraved star shaped decoration in the center, which is holding a lovely rose cut diamond. The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. (A dark black spot can easily be seen, while white clouds in diamonds are somewhat undercover) This lovely diamond has an approx weight of 0,28ct and is placed in a cathedral setting to make sure that the light can play inside of it easily. We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the Victorian period. This collar brooch is crafted 18 karat solid gold and features stunning floral shapes. In its centre we find an enamel adorned oval. This black and white enamel makes the hand engraved floral artwork pop out. This specific enamel pallet in combination with the warm gold was mainly used in the France during the 1850s and 60's. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

Three small hoops at the bottom of the brooch were used to give the owner of the brooch many ways to wear the brooch. Plain in day time and with dangling pearls for example at night. It was quite in fashion to have modular jewels back in that period in time.

The brooch is functioning and in very good condition considering its age. This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a long pin typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. This light stunning brooch is hallmarked with a French horse head. This particular hors-head hallmark is a French hallmark that was set in gold jewelry between 1838 and 1919. Meaning that this pendant is dating back to the French Napoleon III period during English Queen Victoria's reign.

We love this wonderful example of an Napoleon III era brooch. We love the way the artist united the elegant flowing natural forms with the harsh enamel giving it a strong and magical look. We love its high and rich carat, the colour tones and of course its wonderful design.

We are pleased to offer you this stunning solid gold diamond set cross. This marvellous religious pendant is crafted in 18 karat white gold and dipped in platinum to give it an even whiter appearance. It is set with a total of 60 natural diamonds. These diamonds blend in perfectly with the platinum, making them sparkle even more, and making them appear as one large diamond. In the centre we find the largest bezel set diamond with an approximate weight of 0,2 carats. From this old european diamond, four lines covered with twenty four diamonds turn into a cross as a base. An additional thirty five diamonds adorn the cross, giving it a dazzling look.

This pendant can also be worn as a brooch tanks to the trombone closure and pin on the back. This lovely jewel has beautiful open-work parts. These arise because the main arms of the cross are flanked by extra thin lanes that are attached to the centre cross via geometric filigree decoration. The inner corners of the cross are in turn decorated with triangular shapes which are, like the rest of this jewel, set with hand cut diamonds. These triangles provide its extra strong Art Deco look.

This Art deco pendant is most likely crafted around 1920 in Western Europe and holds a total of approximately 1,6 ct diamonds. All diamonds are SI2-P and therefore of bad quality using todays standards, yet we often see this quality used in diamond jewelry from this era. Nevertheless they steal the show and bring class and elegance to this antique pendant. This ravishing cross is a real beauty thanks to its hand cut diamond placed in platinum covert gold, its perfect big size and its elegant and simple shape. For sale is this adorable antique pendant crafted during the Georgian era 1714-1830. This beauty is set with foil-backed rose cut diamonds, arranged in a drop-shaped yet flower formation. The gemstones are set in silver, backed with gold, as was typical at this time. This  because jewellers believed that silver was the only material able to enhance the beauty of diamonds. We have to admit that it is a wonderful combination and therefore a very recognisable combination to this Georgian era. The gold layer on the back was to prevent the wearers skin to turn black from the silver, very smart right? This pendant bears no hallmark but we believe that they are of Dutch or Belgium origin.

The wings are wonderfully engraved, the settings of the pearl and rubies are finished with filigree and to ensure the diamonds to sparkle more, they are set in gold covered silver so they blend in perfectly and form a bigger sparkling union.

This stunning brooch is set with twenty marvellous rose cut diamonds. These diamonds were all cut by hand and therefore unique, which makes us loving them even more. But not only the diamonds steel the show, the stunning pearl adds the right amount of class to this brooch. On top of that, two red rubies are used as the eyes of this beauty. These old cut rubies have both a diameter of approx 2,1mm. This lovely bee is not hallmarked, yet we believe it has a Belgian origin. There are 20 diamonds, all rose cut. The fourteen smallest have a diameter of approximately 2 mm, the biggest one in the tail has a diameter of approx 2,7mm and the four in the wings are approx 2,7*2,2 mm. The prettiest and biggest one forming the queens head is approx 3,4*3,4 mm.

This wonderful Art Deco bar brooch stole our hearts the second we laid eyes on it. This antique brooch features three wonderful old European cut diamonds. Which were cut to reflect candle light in the most beautiful ways. Art deco was a popular style movement from the beginning of the 20th century. It was eclectic, art deco is a pastiche of the many different styles that preceded it. It combined previous styles with the new upcoming industrial one which was often contradictory. Traditional motifs were complemented by a tighter look that was influenced by the latest technologies opposed to art nouveau, which was very organic.

Regarding the diamonds, the centre of this lovely brooch is set with a pretty old European cut diamond with an approx weight of 0,17ct. Four rose cut diamonds flan this stone, to be flanked in turn by two single old cut diamonds. These two diamonds have a combined weight of approx. 0,06ct. We love honesty, and therefore like to mention that one of the smaller diamonds is a bit damaged at the top, a part is chipped off, this  is not that visible with the naked eye, yet we prefer to let you know.

The closure is a trombone gasp which was mainly used in Europe from the beginning till the mid-20th century. It’s an improved security on the clasp which was more fragile before. Like all things they kept improving the clasps of brooches. Later that century a new clasp was invented as a result of which this clasp was no longer made. The pin and clasp are working perfectly, not to say very well since the closure is a little stubborn and therefore very sturdy. The brooch itself is made in yellow gold, while the top of the pin is plated with rhodium to give it a white gold look.

We love this brooch because the open work gives this heavy jewel an airy look. The diamonds and geometric design ensure that this jewel is balanced and peaceful but at the same time striking and dazzling. From classic to modern, festive to casual, this antique brooch can be combined with anything.

For sale is this lovely bulky single Cut diamond ring. This Ruby Tank ring is made in 18 k Yellow gold, which turned some what orangy during the years. It is a great layer of patina and a typical colour of gold for jewels from this period.  It is marked with a Belgian makers mark and a 0,750 mark for 18 karat solid gold. This type of ring is called a Tank ring thanks to to the Tanks of the Second World War. These tank rings where mostly created during the 40's and 50's and are a perfect example of the retro style. Two central lines of diamonds are set in a bow, giving the ring some extra volume. Six baguette cut rubies steals the show on each side of this line. One of them is the original one in gold, the other screw has been replaced by its previous owner for a black one.) These pink gemstones are flanked by many single cut diamonds. These diamonds are all set in platinum. They ensure the correct amount of 'sparkle' in their white coloured setting. This wonderful ring is set with a total of 28 natural diamonds that combine for a total weight of approximately 0,8 ct.

During the Victorian era, there were a lot of jewels made based on nature’s most wonderful scenes. This beautiful jewel is no different. This Victorian brooch is decorated with a ladybird resting on a shield. This shield is flanked by two small but stunning flowers. In the centre of these silver flowers we find two rose cut diamonds. A rose cut diamond is created to reflect candle light on there big facets. Therefore they give a warmer sparkle than modern cut brilliant diamonds.

The detailing of the ladybird itself is also stunning. The body is made out of a red tourmaline cabochon. Over the centre runs a small line made out of 18K rose gold to create the illusion of two separate wing covers. This 18k rose gold is also used to create the small legs of the ladybird. The upper body and head are made out of silver, this upper body is jewelled with two small rose cut diamonds. And last but not least, the eyes of this exquisite ladybird are two small old cut rubies.

On the side of the little c-clasp on the back, we find an eagle stamp. This hallmark is only used by French goldsmiths and was introduced in 1838. Since the jewel comes from the time when Queen Victoria reigned, we can also state that this brooch was made by hand. And if you ask us it’s made a highly skilled goldsmith since the details are incredibly beautifully finished.
