We are delighted to introduce you to this extraordinary ring, crafted in 18 karat yellow gold and finished with white rhodium, like mostly done with antique rings crafted around this late victorian era, since they believed that white was the only colour that was a perfect match with diamonds. This stunning 'toi et moi' (You and I) -ring is set with a lovely old European cut diamond and a natural white pearl. The diamond was cut by hand and is all natural, there are many inclusions in the diamond, but they are all 'white' making them kind of invisible when you were the ring. (A dark black spot can easily be seen, while white clouds in diamonds are somewhat undercover) This lovely diamond has an approx weight of 0,28ct and is placed in a cathedral setting to make sure that the light can play inside of it easily. The white pearl is placed cosy next to it. From these two beauties, the ring band elegantly turns into the shape of the ring itself. This ring band is as well detailled with cute and sparkly rose cut diamonds. These rose cut diamonds are all unique since they were cut by hand. This stunner is not hallmarked and therefor tested for 18 karat gold.

In the centre we have a lovely romantic white pearl encircled by ten natural diamonds. Nine of these marvellous beauties are very pretty old miner cut diamonds. The tenth one has been replaced by a modern brilliant cut diamond by its previous owner. These ten beauties combine for an approximately total weight of 1,1ct. For sale is this Victorian reverse intaglio pin depicting a dog (most likely a French Bulldog) standing on grass. This antique 18 karat solid gold brooch is adorned with an Essex crystal. This is a clear crystal cabochon which is carved out from the flat back side, then painted by hand within the cavity, and backed with mother-of-pearl to give the miniature dog portrait a lovely 3D effect. We truly adore it. Not only the painting is exquisite, the design of the pin itself is it as well. The maker chose a now very warm patina coloured gold that is shaped into a belt encircling the crystal. This treasure is not hallmarked (like most jewelry from this era that find their origin in Belgium.) so we spectro tested it to verify its purity without damaging it.

This wonderful Art Deco bar brooch stole our hearts the second we laid eyes on it. This antique brooch features a wonderful oval rose cut diamond in its center. Which was cut to reflect candle light in the most beautiful ways. This lovely gem is flanked by two lines of platinum set with many additional rose cut diamonds, arranged from big to smaller. Art deco was a popular style movement from the beginning of the 20th century. It was eclectic, art deco is a pastiche of the many different styles that preceded it. It combined previous styles with the new upcoming industrial one which was often contradictory. Traditional motifs were complemented by a tighter look that was influenced by the latest technologies opposed to art nouveau, which was very organic.

The closure is a trombone gasp which was mainly used in Europe from the beginning till the mid-20th century. It’s an improved security on the clasp which was more fragile before. Like all things they kept improving the clasps of brooches. Later that century a new clasp was invented as a result of which this clasp was no longer made. The pin and clasp are working perfectly. The brooch itself is made in 18 karat solid yellow gold, while the top of the pin is made out of platinum to make the diamonds appear as one sparkling line.

We love this brooch, its gemstone and material use. The diamonds and geometric design ensure that this jewel is balanced and peaceful but at the same time striking and dazzling. From classic to modern, festive to casual, this antique brooch can be combined with anything.

We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the Victorian period. This collar brooch is crafted 18 karat solid gold and features stunning floral shapes. In its centre we find an enamel adorned oval. This black and white enamel makes the hand engraved floral artwork pop out. This specific enamel pallet in combination with the warm gold was mainly used in the France during the 1850s and 60's. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

Three small hoops at the bottom of the brooch were used to give the owner of the brooch many ways to wear the brooch. Plain in day time and with dangling pearls for example at night. It was quite in fashion to have modular jewels back in that period in time.

The brooch is functioning and in very good condition considering its age. This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a long pin typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. This light stunning brooch is hallmarked with a French horse head. This particular hors-head hallmark is a French hallmark that was set in gold jewelry between 1838 and 1919. Meaning that this pendant is dating back to the French Napoleon III period during English Queen Victoria's reign.

For sale is this lovely small Rose Cut diamond ring. This thin Tank ring is made in 18 karat Yellow gold and tested with a spectro meter to not damage the ring. This type of ring is called a Tank ring thanks to to the Tanks of the Second World War. These tank rings where mostly created during the 40's and 50's and are a perfect example of the retro style. They are voluminous and have often symmetrical forms.

A large white pearl is in the centre of the ring. Little rose cut diamonds are set around it, they sparkle bright in their white coloured setting. One of these little diamonds was replaced by its previous owner for a modern brilliant cut diamond. We adore this marvellous ring. It is rough, yet elegant and holds one of our favourite diamonds, rose cuts.
