This wonderful 18 karat solid gold floral brooch comes directly from the Art Nouveau period. Round in shape, this lovely antique brooch represents a beautiful flower bouquet. The brooch itself is a plain round disc with hand-made engravings set with two little stones, a seed pearl and a red non-gemstone form the head of the flowers. Around the disc we see a twisted ribbon forming the outer shape of a flower, while six small pearls ensure this brooch to be elegant and classy. The clasp is a good functioning pin with a c-clasp. Did you know that this pin is longer than modern pins because the fabrics of clothing from this era was much thicker than modern fabrics? This yellow gold brooch is not hallmarked and therefor tested for 18k gold and finds it origin in west-Europe.
