For sale is this lovely 14k yellow gold pendant. This lovely pendant is a replica of the Minoan Bees, also known as the Bees of Malia. The pendant is hallmarked with a 585 mark and unfortunately the back is a bit damaged as visible in the pictures.

The original artifact was found in 1930 in Malia, Crete, Greece and dates back to the early Minoan civilisation 1800-1650 BC. This royal charm features two bees, heraldically arranged around a bee hive. They are both feeding on a honey drop. Three gold droplets represent a bountiful pollen harvest, and just below the bale sits the crown of the Queen Bee.These bees represent the fecundity of the earth and the cyclical rhythms of life and death. Furthermore the Minoans likely viewed bees as guardians of nature's bounty, their buzzing presence a sign of the interconnectedness of all living things.

This wonderful 18 karat solid gold floral brooch comes directly from the Art Nouveau period. Round with a hexagon look in shape, this lovely antique brooch represents a beautiful flower bouquet. The brooch itself is a plain round disc with hand-made engravings set with little seed pearls which form the head of the flowers. Around the disc we see a twisted ribbon forming a hexagon shape as if it are woven branches, while six small pearls ensure this brooch to be elegant and classy. This stunning shield shaped locket has a horse themed ornament in its center, which give this beauty a elegant and attractive appearance. We are delighted to introduce you to this colourful Art Deco beauty. This bow shaped double-clip brooch is set with tapered baguette and old brilliant cut diamonds, most of these old cuts have a lovely little cullet. Additional pink sapphires ensure its popping appearance. A dazzling 160 natural diamonds were set in this brooch to take your breath away.

This jewel, dating back to circa 1920's, is in very good condition considering its age. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds. During the Victorian era, there were a lot of jewels made based on nature’s most wonderful scenes. This beautiful jewel is no different. This Victorian brooch is decorated with a ladybird resting on a shield. This shield is flanked by two small but stunning flowers. In the centre of these silver flowers we find two rose cut diamonds. A rose cut diamond is created to reflect candle light on there big facets. Therefore they give a warmer sparkle than modern cut brilliant diamonds.

The detailing of the ladybird itself is also stunning. The body is made out of a red tourmaline cabochon. Over the centre runs a small line made out of 18K rose gold to create the illusion of two separate wing covers. This 18k rose gold is also used to create the small legs of the ladybird. The upper body and head are made out of silver, this upper body is jewelled with two small rose cut diamonds. And last but not least, the eyes of this exquisite ladybird are two small old cut rubies.

On the side of the little c-clasp on the back, we find an eagle stamp. This hallmark is only used by French goldsmiths and was introduced in 1838. Since the jewel comes from the time when Queen Victoria reigned, we can also state that this brooch was made by hand. And if you ask us it’s made a highly skilled goldsmith since the details are incredibly beautifully finished.

This wonderful Victorian eagle brooch stole our hearts the second we laid eyes on it. This antique brooch features a wonderful flying eagle and we believe that it is marked with a French horse head, yet it is only a very small part of it that is visible so we can't be 100% sure, we therefore spectro tested it for 18karat gold. This particular hors-head hallmark is a French hallmark that was set in gold jewelry between 1838 and 1919. An antique cut ruby set in the snakes head bings the right amount of colour to the brooch. This brooch is in working condition with a safety hook and pin. This lovely brooch is in very good condition considering its age, it has a little hook at the bottom to attach a small pocket watch or a pendant. On top of that it has a small hoop at the eagles mouth so you can attach a pearl or small charm there.

An Eagle is often the symbol of bravery, it is meant to encourage and inspire people to reaching higher. To push your limits to see what you can do. Eagles should bring a sense of courage and a desire to explore in order to grow.

For sale is this Victorian reverse intaglio pin depicting a dog (most likely a French Bulldog) standing on grass. This antique 18 karat solid gold brooch is adorned with an Essex crystal. This is a clear crystal cabochon which is carved out from the flat back side, then painted by hand within the cavity, and backed with mother-of-pearl to give the miniature dog portrait a lovely 3D effect. We truly adore it. Not only the painting is exquisite, the design of the pin itself is it as well. The maker chose a now very warm patina coloured gold that is shaped into a belt encircling the crystal. This treasure is not hallmarked (like most jewelry from this era that find their origin in Belgium.) so we spectro tested it to verify its purity without damaging it.

This wonderful 18 karat solid gold floral brooch comes directly from the Art Nouveau period. Round in shape, this lovely antique brooch represents a beautiful flower bouquet. The brooch itself is a plain round disc with hand-made engravings set with two little stones, a seed pearl and a red non-gemstone form the head of the flowers. Around the disc we see a twisted ribbon forming the outer shape of a flower, while six small pearls ensure this brooch to be elegant and classy. The clasp is a good functioning pin with a c-clasp. Did you know that this pin is longer than modern pins because the fabrics of clothing from this era was much thicker than modern fabrics? This yellow gold brooch is not hallmarked and therefor tested for 18k gold and finds it origin in west-Europe.

This wonderful Victorian owl brooch stole our hearts the second we laid eyes on it. This antique brooch features a wonderful owl head with many details making the feathers almost appear to be real. Two antique cut rubies are set in the eyes of the owl which bing the right amount of colour to the brooch. This brooch is in working condition with a safety hook and pin which we believe has been replaced by a newer one by its previous owner. The safety hook has an extra little clip securing the pin itself. This lovely brooch is in very good condition considering its age, yet we like to mention that it has some damage at the top and bottom of the back of the brooch. This is not visible from the front.

In many cultures, owls are believed to possess protective qualities because of their ability to see through the darkness. This has made them symbols of insight and intuition. Owls are often thought to bring good luck to those who need clarity and guidance, particularly in uncertain times.

For sale is this stunning Bee brooch. This 18 ct yellow gold beauty is most likely crafted in the Aesthetic period (1880-1901) during queen Victorias reign. This stunner is set with diamonds, rubies and a pearl. The details in this brooch are phenomenal. The wings are wonderfully engraved, the settings of the pearl and rubies are finished with filigree and to ensure the diamonds to sparkle more, they are set in gold covered silver so they blend in perfectly and form a bigger sparkling union.

This stunning brooch is set with twenty marvellous rose cut diamonds. These diamonds were all cut by hand and therefore unique, which makes us loving them even more. But not only the diamonds steel the show, the stunning pearl adds the right amount of class to this brooch. On top of that, two red rubies are used as the eyes of this beauty. These old cut rubies have both a diameter of approx 2,1mm. This lovely bee is not hallmarked, yet we believe it has a Belgian origin. There are 20 diamonds, all rose cut. The fourteen smallest have a diameter of approximately 2 mm, the biggest one in the tail has a diameter of approx 2,7mm and the four in the wings are approx 2,7*2,2 mm. The prettiest and biggest one forming the queens head is approx 3,4*3,4 mm.

We love this Queen, because, what is not to love? It is wonderfully detailed, the colours match perfectly and the diamonds are truly the icing on the cake!
