These two bunches of grapes with detailed leafs are 3D placed on top of the bases. These oval earrings are light and therefore the perfect earrings to wear all day long.

For sale is this wonderful Gypsy ring made in 18 Karat solid yellow gold and set with two old European cut diamonds and a cabochon deep red coral. The term Gypsy is used for rings that hold stones that are set into the ring. This technique is known as a flush-mount setting. Thanks to the setting, the gemstones and ring are one, it looks like that the diamonds growths inside of the ring. This type of rings has a modern minimal design, yet it finds its origine during the Victorian era and was first popularised by men.

This lovely brooch is in very good condition considering its age, yet we like to mention that it has some damage at the top and bottom of the back of the brooch. This is not visible from the front.

They were worn by women in some parts of the Netherlands and represent the rich cultural heritage the Netherlands has to offer.

The rose-yellow gold bases are covered with very well detailled orangy-coloured gold flowers holding a small sparkling paste stone. These two flowers with green-coloured leafs are 3D placed on top of the bases. The top of each earring holds a white natural, claw set pearl. This brooch is in working condition with a safety hook and pin. This lovely brooch is in very good condition considering its age, it has a little hook at the bottom to attach a small pocket watch or a pendant. On top of that it has a small hoop at the eagles mouth so you can attach a pearl or small charm there.

This stunner is set with diamonds, rubies and a pearl. The details in this brooch are phenomenal. The wings are wonderfully engraved, the settings of the pearl and rubies are finished with filigree and to ensure the diamonds to sparkle more, they are set in gold covered silver so they blend in perfectly and form a bigger sparkling union.

This stunning brooch is set with twenty marvellous rose cut diamonds. These diamonds were all cut by hand and therefore unique, which makes us loving them even more. But not only the diamonds steel the show, the stunning pearl adds the right amount of class to this brooch. On top of that, two red rubies are used as the eyes of this beauty. These old cut rubies have both a diameter of approx 2,1mm. This lovely bee is not hallmarked, yet we believe it has a Belgian origin. There are 20 diamonds, all rose cut. For sale is this Victorian reverse intaglio pin depicting a dog (most likely a French Bulldog) standing on grass. This antique 18 karat solid gold brooch is adorned with an Essex crystal. This is a clear crystal cabochon which is carved out from the flat back side, then painted by hand within the cavity, and backed with mother-of-pearl to give the miniature dog portrait a lovely 3D effect. We truly adore it. Not only the painting is exquisite, the design of the pin itself is it as well. The maker chose a now very warm patina coloured gold that is shaped into a belt encircling the crystal. This treasure is not hallmarked (like most jewelry from this era that find their origin in Belgium.) so we spectro tested it to verify its purity without damaging it.

This romantic pin is set with multiple diamonds and rubies. The details in this brooch are truly phenomenal. The rose-cut diamond encrusted wings are breath taking in real life, while the old mine cut diamond in the cherubs basket makes our heart skip a beat. Two additional old mine cut rubies bring this timeless beauty a warm and extra romantic look.

This nineteenth century brooch features a sweet cherub, holding a basket with three gemstones while floating through the air with his sparkling wings and a ribbon around its waist. We are pleased to let you know that this brooch is in excellent condition. The longer pin with C clasp works perfectly, did you know that this pin is longer than modern pins because fabrics used to be thicker during the Victorian era? An additional pin was added to this brooch with a safety chain as an extra safety measure. This stunning brooch is set with a total of thirty-six rose cut diamonds and one large old mine cut one. These authentic natural diamonds were all cut by hand and therefore unique, which makes us loving them even more.

We were and are still blow away by this beauty. This Croix de Jeannette made out of solid 18 karat gold is in excellent condition. A cross of Jeannette is a cross without a Christ which ends turn into fleur-de-lis and often have a flower or dove in its center. Just like this pendant, an enamelled flower ( a white violet) covers one side of the center, while the other side shows the letters A and M intertwined with a heart and cross. These initials represent "Auspice Maria : under the protection of Mary". The ends of the cross show the french lily, while the body of the cross itself is covered with scroll shapes. Four textured spheres are placed between the arms of the cross while three smooth spheres are decorating the ends of the arms.

This rare pendant is not hallmarked, but tested for solid 18 karat gold. It was most likely made in France in the 19th century and worn by a young girl who bought it with her first wages on Saint-Jean day. It is therefore called a 'jeannette" and represent the transformation from child to adult, but also Christian faith and financial independence through work.

These 18 karat rose gold dormeuse earrings (also called sleepers) have a front closure and are decorated with textured bows, two dots and are finished with a lot of detail. The fine details are well made and preserved considering their age. The teardrop shaped pendants are hollow, but in great condition. One of the dormeuses has had a repair by its previous owner which left the front a bit darker and dented.

You can either wear them as small dormeuse earrings or gala party earrings with the dangling parts attached. These small round shaped beauties are not marked but were tested for 18 karat gold. The dangling 'night'-parts are hallmarked with French eagle head hallmarks.

This Beautiful charm depicting a "13". Many people regard the number 13 as an accident number, however it is also often regarded as a lucky number.  Especially in France and Italy from the past centuries. It's made with love and hallmarked with an Antique French hallmark, the horse head. This particular hors-head hallmark is a French hallmark that was set in gold jewelry between 1838 and 1919. This wonderful Art Deco bar brooch stole our hearts the second we laid eyes on it. This antique brooch features three wonderful old European cut diamonds. Which were cut to reflect candle light in the most beautiful ways. Art deco was a popular style movement from the beginning of the 20th century. It was eclectic, art deco is a pastiche of the many different styles that preceded it. It combined previous styles with the new upcoming industrial one which was often contradictory. Traditional motifs were complemented by a tighter look that was influenced by the latest technologies opposed to art nouveau, which was very organic.

Regarding the diamonds, the centre of this lovely brooch is set with a pretty old European cut diamond with an approx weight of 0,17ct. Four rose cut diamonds flan this stone, to be flanked in turn by two single old cut diamonds. These two diamonds have a combined weight of approx. 0,06ct. We love honesty, and therefore like to mention that one of the smaller diamonds is a bit damaged at the top, a part is chipped off, this  is not that visible with the naked eye, yet we prefer to let you know.

The closure is a trombone gasp which was mainly used in Europe from the beginning till the mid-20th century. It’s an improved security on the clasp which was more fragile before. Like all things they kept improving the clasps of brooches. Later that century a new clasp was invented as a result of which this clasp was no longer made. The pin and clasp are working perfectly, not to say very well since the closure is a little stubborn and therefore very sturdy. The brooch itself is made in yellow gold, while the top of the pin is plated with rhodium to give it a white gold look.

We love this brooch because the open work gives this heavy jewel an airy look. The diamonds and geometric design ensure that this jewel is balanced and peaceful but at the same time striking and dazzling. From classic to modern, festive to casual, this antique brooch can be combined with anything.

These two flowers with green-coloured leafs are 3D placed on top of the bases. The top of each earring holds a white natural, claw set pearl. This locket is fully equipped to keep two round pictures safe thanks to their little glasses and decorated gold frames which you can remove in order to place the pictures below the glass. You have to open the locket from the back, it is not very easy to open, so it is not a 'I will look at the pictures daily kind of locket, yet a great way to keep your loved ones close.

This collar brooch is crafted 18 K solid gold and features stunning geometrical decoration. In the center of this beauty, we find a small but bright pinkish ruby. This beautiful catholic charm is decorated with a smaller well detailled gothic-style cross in its centre with the same orange hue as the points of the largest cross. Another cross comes from behind this small one to make a 'starburst' behind it. Unfortunately one of the small arms is missing, the right upper one to be more specific. We are delighted to present this extraordinary pendant, our heart literally skipped a beat when we laid our eyes on it for the first time, and keeps on doing it every time we look at it. This beautiful treasure is full of hidden meanings depicting the holy communion with Jesus Christ on the front. While a dove, grain, lamb and grapes are visible on the back.

As said, one side of the charm shows a relief scene of Jesus, often associated with baptism or holy communion themes. Jesus is pictured in front of an aureola while he breaks the bread. The scene is encircled by very decorative Gothic-style quatrefoil boarders giving the charm more dept and character. The other side holds a lot of symbolising drawings. This wonderful Art Deco bar brooch stole our hearts the second we laid eyes on it. This antique brooch features a wonderful oval rose cut diamond in its center. Which was cut to reflect candle light in the most beautiful ways. This lovely gem is flanked by two lines of platinum set with many additional rose cut diamonds, arranged from big to smaller. Art deco was a popular style movement from the beginning of the 20th century. It was eclectic, art deco is a pastiche of the many different styles that preceded it. It combined previous styles with the new upcoming industrial one which was often contradictory. Traditional motifs were complemented by a tighter look that was influenced by the latest technologies opposed to art nouveau, which was very organic.

The closure is a trombone gasp which was mainly used in Europe from the beginning till the mid-20th century. It’s an improved security on the clasp which was more fragile before. Like all things they kept improving the clasps of brooches. Later that century a new clasp was invented as a result of which this clasp was no longer made. The pin and clasp are working perfectly. The brooch itself is made in 18 karat solid yellow gold, while the top of the pin is made out of platinum to make the diamonds appear as one sparkling line.

This black and white enamel makes the hand engraved floral artwork pop out. This specific enamel pallet in combination with the warm gold was mainly used in the France during the 1850s and 60's. Three small hoops at the bottom of the brooch were used to give the owner of the brooch many ways to wear the brooch. Plain in day time and with dangling pearls for example at night. It was quite in fashion to have modular jewels back in that period in time.

A dazzling 98 diamonds were set in this brooch to take your breath away. With the larges eleven in the center. An old mine cut diamond with an approx weight of 0,4 carat is encircled with ten rose cut diamonds. These authentic natural diamonds are all set in silver, backed with gold as was typical at this time. They did this because jewellers believed that silver was the only material able to enhance the beauty of diamonds. During the Victorian era, there were a lot of jewels made based on nature’s most wonderful scenes. This beautiful jewel is no different. This Victorian brooch is decorated with a ladybird resting on a shield. This shield is flanked by two small but stunning flowers. In the centre of these silver flowers we find two rose cut diamonds. A rose cut diamond is created to reflect candle light on there big facets. Therefore they give a warmer sparkle than modern cut brilliant diamonds.

The detailing of the ladybird itself is also stunning. The body is made out of a red tourmaline cabochon. Over the centre runs a small line made out of 18K rose gold to create the illusion of two separate wing covers. This 18k rose gold is also used to create the small legs of the ladybird. The upper body and head are made out of silver, this upper body is jewelled with two small rose cut diamonds. And last but not least, the eyes of this exquisite ladybird are two small old cut rubies.

It is set with exceptionally large rose cut diamonds. These stunning diamonds are in very good condition and foil back set like most diamonds during that period, this is a special technique that was used to bring the lustre of the diamonds to its best quality. A crescent shape set with seven large rose cut diamonds is the central part of this piece. Floral shapes, small hand made engravings and twisted gold ropes finish off the large base of this brooch. Meanwhile small dangling flowers set with tiny rose cut diamonds ensure that this piece is a joyful treasure. This extraordinary brooch is made in 18k yellow gold and is in very good condition considering its age. We choose not to polish it in any way. This results in some parts still having their patina colours which they gained over the years.

This Victorian heirloom is marked with French eagle heads and a makers mark AG. The glasses itself are in a very good condition considering their age. There are no big scratches in the glass, only some small cut-outs at the edges of the glass as you can see in the pictures. These folding glasses are provided with a hidden activation lever for the spring-load mechanism, so the glasses pop open once you pressed this release clasp.

This type of accessory were a common sight at the opera and theatre during the 19th century. They were the stylish and royal precursor to modern opera glasses. Freely translate the french word lorgnette means 'to eye furtively' meaning it was used for more than only to see the opera itself. Especially by curios rich ladies in the balconies who, due to etiquette, were not allowed to look behind them to discover who entered their box and with whom this new spectator came to see the opera.
