For sale is this 18K solid gold cross set with natural diamonds and special cut sapphires. This geometric charm was crafted in the Art Deco period and clearly made with love. Four Sapphires were specially cut for this treasure. They fit perfectly, are still in great condition considering the age of the pendant and are deep blue, triangle shaped and convex.
The centre holds a larger brilliant cut diamond set in a squared platinum setting decorated with small dots. The rest of the cross is set on the arms itself, twenty-eight smaller single cut diamond are placed in line into platinum rectangles to make them appear as one sparkling line. Moreover they added even smaller rose cut diamonds next to the sapphires to make the line as perfect as possible. The bail itself holds one single cut diamond and is attached to a brilliant cut diamond on top of the cross. These platinum parts are decorated with dots and filigree as well. This beauty carries no hallmark but has been tested for solid 18 karat gold and platinum.
