We are thrilled to show you these magnificent heirlooms. These antique earrings are crafted in 18 ct yellow gold and very detailled. These earrings were most likely crafted at the end of the 19th century around 1880 in Belgium, they don't carry a hallmark, so we tested them for 18 karat solid gold.

These lovely earrings where made during the 19th century, when Queen Victoria was the ruler of the United Kingdom. Queen Victoria was an influential person. Her style and sense of fashion became almost a benchmark during her reign. Queen Victoria has devoted much attention on bringing nature into her home and that of her nation throughout her reign. For example plants but also animals were often depicted in her jewellery but also as decoration on furniture and other utensils.

The oval dome shaped bases are covered with little engravings, each centre holds a very well detailled 3D floral shape set with two little turquoise cabochons and a pearl. The top of each earring holds a smaller natural, claw set pearl above sole delicate scrolls. Small foxtail chains dangle below this whole giving the earrings an even more joyful look. These long earrings are not that heavy and therefore the perfect earrings to wear all day long. They will move and swing smoothly while you are walk around to show them off, like they should be shown off.

We love these European beauties, which date back to the Victorian era, because they represent everything that was common during this period. We adore its grandeur, the elegant shapes and floral forms that are very well created and preserved. These earrings are in very good condition, especially considering their age.

We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the late Victorian period. This floral themed collar brooch is crafted 18 Karat solid gold and features stunning floral shaped decoration and two elegant little pearls. The boarder is a raised, hollow, textured boarder with little crosses on them, typical for jewels made during this period in France. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a longer pin, typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. Which were cut to reflect candle light in the most beautiful ways. Art deco was a popular style movement from the beginning of the 20th century. It was eclectic, art deco is a pastiche of the many different styles that preceded it. It combined previous styles with the new upcoming industrial one which was often contradictory. Traditional motifs were complemented by a tighter look that was influenced by the latest technologies opposed to art nouveau, which was very organic.

Regarding the diamonds, the centre of this lovely brooch is set with a pretty old European cut diamond with an approx weight of 0,17ct. Four rose cut diamonds flan this stone, to be flanked in turn by two single old cut diamonds. These two diamonds have a combined weight of approx. 0,06ct. We love honesty, and therefore like to mention that one of the smaller diamonds is a bit damaged at the top, a part is chipped off, this  is not that visible with the naked eye, yet we prefer to let you know.

The closure is a trombone gasp which was mainly used in Europe from the beginning till the mid-20th century. It’s an improved security on the clasp which was more fragile before. Like all things they kept improving the clasps of brooches. Later that century a new clasp was invented as a result of which this clasp was no longer made. The pin and clasp are working perfectly, not to say very well since the closure is a little stubborn and therefore very sturdy. The brooch itself is made in yellow gold, while the top of the pin is plated with rhodium to give it a white gold look.

This type of ring is called a Tank ring thanks to to the Tanks of the Second World War. These tank rings where mostly created during the 40's and are a perfect example of the retro style. Two large bulb shaped forms steal the show. During the Victorian era, there were a lot of jewels made based on nature’s most wonderful scenes. This beautiful jewel is no different. This Victorian brooch is decorated with a ladybird resting on a shield. This shield is flanked by two small but stunning flowers. In the centre of these silver flowers we find two rose cut diamonds. A rose cut diamond is created to reflect candle light on there big facets. Therefore they give a warmer sparkle than modern cut brilliant diamonds.

The detailing of the ladybird itself is also stunning. The body is made out of a red tourmaline cabochon. Over the centre runs a small line made out of 18K rose gold to create the illusion of two separate wing covers. This 18k rose gold is also used to create the small legs of the ladybird. The upper body and head are made out of silver, this upper body is jewelled with two small rose cut diamonds. And last but not least, the eyes of this exquisite ladybird are two small old cut rubies.

On the side of the little c-clasp on the back, we find an eagle stamp. This hallmark is only used by French goldsmiths and was introduced in 1838. Since the jewel comes from the time when Queen Victoria reigned, we can also state that this brooch was made by hand. This collar brooch is crafted in 18 K solid gold and features a lovely floral decoration. In the center of this beauty, we find a small but colourful ruby which is the head of the hand engraved flower. four groups of seed pearls flank the central squared base. The whole is encircled by a squared shape.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. It is equipped with a trombone Clasps. This little stunning brooch is not hallmarked but tested for 18k gold.

For sale is this Marvellous 18 K gold and silver Victorian brooch. This piece was crafted during the 19th century in France and is therefor also called a Napoleon III jewel. This stunning floral themed bar brooch is set with a bright blue sapphire, which give this beauty a strong and attractive appearance. Small but breath taking rose cut diamonds form a halo around this sapphire bringing the right amount of sparkles to this elegant brooch. On top of that, the whole bar is set with these lovely diamonds. 

A French eagle head is struck in the pin of the brooch, telling us that a part of this marvellous brooch was made in France out of 18k rose gold. This gold base is covered with silver. Goldsmiths from this era believed that only silver could hold beautiful stones like diamonds. Because this silver was able to render the real beauty of these diamonds. The black patin of this silver layer, discolored over the years, brings out the white shine of the diamonds even more effectively

It is a great layer of patina and a typical colour of gold for jewels from this period.  It is marked with a Belgian makers mark and a 0,750 mark for 18 karat solid gold. This type of ring is called a Tank ring thanks to to the Tanks of the Second World War. These tank rings where mostly created during the 40's and 50's and are a perfect example of the retro style. They are heavy and voluminous.

Two central lines of diamonds are set in a bow, giving the ring some extra volume. Six baguette cut rubies steals the show on each side of this line. These rubies are set in a yellow gold setting making them pop-out even more. (These gold settings with rubies are kept in place by two screws. One of them is the original one in gold, the other screw has been replaced by its previous owner for a black one.) These pink gemstones are flanked by many single cut diamonds. These diamonds are all set in platinum. They ensure the correct amount of 'sparkle' in their white coloured setting. This wonderful ring is set with a total of 28 natural diamonds that combine for a total weight of approximately 0,8 ct.

A common and very lovey design from this time. The front of this wonderful charm redas 'Jean Aliot 7 Mai 1915" and is adorned with four hand engraved little flowers resembling lily of the valley. The back is engraved with ' Campagne 1914 1915' referring to the war. This antique pendant was made in France and is marked with a French horse head. This particular hors-head hallmark is a French hallmark that was set in gold jewelry between 1838 and 1919. The gemstones are set in silver backed with gold as was typical at this time because jewellers believed that silver was the only material able to enhance the beauty of diamonds. We have to admit that it is a wonderful combination and a very recognisable combination to this Georgian era. We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the late Victorian period. This floral star themed collar brooch is crafted 18 Karat solid gold and features stunning floral hand engraved decoration. In the centre of this beauty, we find a greyish half pearl, encircled by a star shaped engraving. This lovely round base is encircled with many little pearls. Some of them are set in little rounds, while others are set in marvellous little star. These stars are alternated with greenish gold flowers with a lot of detail. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age, yet we like to let you know that there is a crack in the centre, as clearly visible in the pictures. This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a longer pin, typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. This light stunning brooch is not hallmarked but spectro tested for 18k gold.

We love this wonderful example of an Art Nouveau brooch crafted during the late Napoleon III era in Europe. For sale is this lovely bulky old European Cut diamond ring. This Ruby Tank ring is made in 18 karat Yellow gold and marked with an 18k mark. This type of ring is called a Tank ring thanks to to the Tanks of the Second World War. These tank rings where mostly created during the 40's and 50's and are a perfect example of the retro style. They are heavy, voluminous and have often symmetrical forms.

A central thin horizontal line set with eight baguette cut rubies make sure that the ring os a colourful eye-catcher while ten breath taking old european cut diamonds steals the show. For sale is this stunning Georgian cross pendant. This beautiful royal cross was most likely made in Belgium or France in the beginning of the 19th century or late 18th. It is set with exceptionally large rose cut diamonds. These stunning diamonds are in perfect condition and foil back set like all diamonds during that period, this is a special technique that was used to bring the lustre of the diamonds to its best quality.

This stunning cross is made in 18k yellow gold and is in good condition considering its age. It appears that this cross had a repair on the back and that it has some dents on central part of the back.

We adore this cross because Georgian jewelry is rather rare as when time passed most worn out, was melted or taken apart and re-used for more modern designs. We therefore chose to keep the pendant as is, meaning that we did not clean this beauty although that would be possible. The grey looking flowers are originally yellow gold coloured with grey claws. If pleased, we can clean this pendant a bit before shipping it out to give it a better shine and to get the flowers a bit more bright.
