This exquisite diamond geometrically-designed Art Deco brooch is crafted out of platinum. This precious metal has only just been introduced in the jewellery industry during this period. This platinum brooch is mounted with ninety-seven old cut diamonds. Which were cut to reflect candle light in the most beautiful ways. Art deco was a popular style movement from the beginning of the 20th century. It was eclectic, art deco is a pastiche of the many different styles that preceded it. It combined previous styles with the new upcoming industrial one which was often contradictory. Traditional motifs were complemented by a tighter look that was influenced by the latest technologies opposed to art nouveau, which was very organic.

Regarding the diamonds, the centre of this marvellous brooch is set with a pretty old European cut diamond with an approx weight of 0,5ct. Thirty-eight of other diamonds set in this brooch are old European cuts and are each between approx 0.17ct and 0.03ct. The other diamonds are single cuts all between 0.03ct and 0.015ct each. The makers of this brooch choose the places well for the old cut diamonds, they are symmetrical set, each corner is set with one, just like the central lines, to ensure this brooch to sparkle as bright as possible. All diamonds are of great colour and clarity.

The closure is a trombone gasp which was mainly used in Europe from the beginning till the mid-20th century. It’s an improved security on the clasp which was more fragile before. Like all things they kept improving the clasps of brooches. Later that century a new clasp was invented as a result of which this clasp was no longer made. This trombone clasp has an extra feature, you have to turn the lock to unlock the sliding function of the brooch. Something we haven't seen before, so this beauty must have been made by a very clever and proud goldsmith, who adores this lovely piece he made. The pin and clasp are working perfectly, The brooch itself is made in Platinum, while the pin itself is made in 18k white gold.

We love this brooch because the open work gives this heavy jewel an airy look. The diamonds and geometric design ensure that this jewel is balanced and peaceful but at the same time striking and dazzling. From classic to modern, festive to casual, this antique brooch can be combined with anything.

We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the late Victorian period. This floral star themed collar brooch is crafted 18 Karat solid gold and features stunning floral hand engraved decoration. In the centre of this beauty, we find a greyish half pearl, encircled by a star shaped engraving. This lovely round base is encircled with many little pearls. Some of them are set in little rounds, while others are set in marvellous little star. These stars are alternated with greenish gold flowers with a lot of detail. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age, yet we like to let you know that there is a crack in the centre, as clearly visible in the pictures. This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a longer pin, typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. This light stunning brooch is not hallmarked but spectro tested for 18k gold.

For sale is this stunning Victorian brooch. This royal diamond brooch was most likely made in Belgium or France in the middle of the 19th century. It is set with exceptionally large rose cut diamonds. These stunning diamonds are in very good condition and foil back set like most diamonds during that period, this is a special technique that was used to bring the lustre of the diamonds to its best quality. A crescent shape set with seven large rose cut diamonds is the central part of this piece. Floral shapes, small hand made engravings and twisted gold ropes finish off the large base of this brooch. Meanwhile small dangling flowers set with tiny rose cut diamonds ensure that this piece is a joyful treasure. This extraordinary brooch is made in 18k yellow gold and is in very good condition considering its age. We choose not to polish it in any way. This results in some parts still having their patina colours which they gained over the years.

We adore this brooch because of all its lustre, moreover what is not to love about this beauty. Furthermore because Victorian jewels like this one, are rather rare as when time passed, most are worn out, were melted or taken apart and re-used for more modern designs. We therefore chose to keep the pendant as is, meaning that we did not clean this beauty although that would be possible. If pleased, we can clean this pendant a bit before shipping it out to give it a better shine.

We are pleased to offer you this stunning solid gold diamond set cross. This marvellous religious pendant is crafted in 18 karat yellow gold and covered in rhodium to give it an even whiter appearance. It is set with a total of 15 natural diamonds. These diamonds blend in perfectly with the rhodium, making them sparkle even more, and making them appear as one large diamond. The single cut diamonds are set between and surrounded by, little dots, making the cross look as if it is fully covered with diamonds.

This Art deco pendant is most likely crafted around 1920 in Western Europe and holds a total of approximately 0,25 ct diamonds. All diamonds are SI2-P and therefore of bad quality using todays standards, yet we often see this quality used in diamond jewelry from this era. We are thrilled to show you these magnificent Dutch heirlooms. These small antique earrings are crafted in 18 karat solid yellow gold with a champagne hue. These earrings were most likely crafted at the end of the 19th century around 1880. They were worn by women in some parts of the Netherlands and represent the rich cultural heritage the Netherlands has to offer.

The rose-yellow gold bases are covered with very well detailled orangy-coloured gold flowers holding a small sparkling paste stone. These two flowers with green-coloured leafs are 3D placed on top of the bases. The top of each earring holds a white natural, claw set pearl. Small dangling pendants at the bottom of the earrings finish the romantic yet playful look. These dangling earrings are light and therefore the perfect earrings to wear all day long. During the Victorian era, there were a lot of jewels made based on nature’s most wonderful scenes. This beautiful jewel is no different. This Victorian brooch is decorated with a ladybird resting on a shield. This shield is flanked by two small but stunning flowers. In the centre of these silver flowers we find two rose cut diamonds. A rose cut diamond is created to reflect candle light on there big facets. Therefore they give a warmer sparkle than modern cut brilliant diamonds.

The detailing of the ladybird itself is also stunning. The body is made out of a red tourmaline cabochon. Over the centre runs a small line made out of 18K rose gold to create the illusion of two separate wing covers. This 18k rose gold is also used to create the small legs of the ladybird. The upper body and head are made out of silver, this upper body is jewelled with two small rose cut diamonds. And last but not least, the eyes of this exquisite ladybird are two small old cut rubies.

On the side of the little c-clasp on the back, we find an eagle stamp. This hallmark is only used by French goldsmiths and was introduced in 1838. Since the jewel comes from the time when Queen Victoria reigned, we can also state that this brooch was made by hand. And if you ask us it’s made a highly skilled goldsmith since the details are incredibly beautifully finished.

This lovely 18 karat Yellow gold ring holds the most beautiful and popular love medallion of all times. Plus qu'hier et moins que demain. This lovely medallion depicts a small cross and minus in the places of the words 'plus' and 'moins'. The cross is set with a small but sparkly single cut diamond while the minus is set with two synthetic rubies. When we look closely we see a small inscription in the medallion. Namely A.Augis, which stands for Alphonse Augis. He was a famous jeweller from Lyon who started making these types of love medallions.

The diamond was cut by hand and is all natural, there are many inclusions in the diamond, but they are all 'white' making them kind of invisible when you were the ring. This gorgeous high society opera lorgnette is crafted out of 18 karat solid yellow gold in France. This lovely detailed throughout attribute is engraved by hand and has a very royal appearance. Like most Victorian jewelry, in the center of this glasses-cover we find a graceful flower that is surrounded by elegant and floral curls. The many details and all the extra small engravings ensure that this large pendant is breathtakingly beautiful.

This Victorian heirloom is marked with French eagle heads and a makers mark AG. The glasses itself are in a very good condition considering their age. There are no big scratches in the glass, only some small cut-outs at the edges of the glass as you can see in the pictures. These folding glasses are provided with a hidden activation lever for the spring-load mechanism, so the glasses pop open once you pressed this release clasp.

This type of accessory were a common sight at the opera and theatre during the 19th century. They were the stylish and royal precursor to modern opera glasses. Freely translate the french word lorgnette means 'to eye furtively' meaning it was used for more than only to see the opera itself. Especially by curios rich ladies in the balconies who, due to etiquette, were not allowed to look behind them to discover who entered their box and with whom this new spectator came to see the opera. Therefor they used these glasses as a secret mirror too, using the glasses reflection. I just tried it and I was amazed by the fact that it worked perfectly.

This wonderful 18 karat solid gold floral brooch comes directly from the Art Nouveau period. Round in shape, this lovely antique brooch represents a beautiful flower bouquet. The brooch itself is a plain round disc with hand-made engravings set with two little stones, a seed pearl and a red non-gemstone form the head of the flowers. Around the disc we see a twisted ribbon forming the outer shape of a flower, while six small pearls ensure this brooch to be elegant and classy. The clasp is a good functioning pin with a c-clasp. Did you know that this pin is longer than modern pins because the fabrics of clothing from this era was much thicker than modern fabrics? This yellow gold brooch is not hallmarked and therefor tested for 18k gold and finds it origin in west-Europe.

Nine rose cut diamonds are placed as a target in this round ring, a larger one in the centre while eight smaller ones encircle this central one. As you can see in the pictures, there is a dark inclusion in the centre of the central rose cut diamond, right in the middle. This wonderful Art Deco bar brooch stole our hearts the second we laid eyes on it. This antique brooch features three wonderful old European cut diamonds. Which were cut to reflect candle light in the most beautiful ways. Art deco was a popular style movement from the beginning of the 20th century. It was eclectic, art deco is a pastiche of the many different styles that preceded it. It combined previous styles with the new upcoming industrial one which was often contradictory. Traditional motifs were complemented by a tighter look that was influenced by the latest technologies opposed to art nouveau, which was very organic.

Regarding the diamonds, the centre of this lovely brooch is set with a pretty old European cut diamond with an approx weight of 0,17ct. Four rose cut diamonds flan this stone, to be flanked in turn by two single old cut diamonds. These two diamonds have a combined weight of approx. 0,06ct. We love honesty, and therefore like to mention that one of the smaller diamonds is a bit damaged at the top, a part is chipped off, this  is not that visible with the naked eye, yet we prefer to let you know.

The closure is a trombone gasp which was mainly used in Europe from the beginning till the mid-20th century. It’s an improved security on the clasp which was more fragile before. Like all things they kept improving the clasps of brooches. Later that century a new clasp was invented as a result of which this clasp was no longer made. The pin and clasp are working perfectly, not to say very well since the closure is a little stubborn and therefore very sturdy. The brooch itself is made in yellow gold, while the top of the pin is plated with rhodium to give it a white gold look.

We love this brooch because the open work gives this heavy jewel an airy look. The diamonds and geometric design ensure that this jewel is balanced and peaceful but at the same time striking and dazzling. From classic to modern, festive to casual, this antique brooch can be combined with anything.

This elegant necklace consists out alternating simpler and fancy looking links with lovely filligree scroll decorations and millgraine details. These links were casted. The chain has one small dog clip closure which is hallmarked with a French eagle head. The chain itself is hallmarked with a Rhino head and multiple French eagle head marks. This necklace is in good condition, yet we like to let you know that the closure has a deeper 'testing' scratch and that almost all links are a little bend. This wonderful Victorian owl brooch stole our hearts the second we laid eyes on it. This antique brooch features a wonderful owl head with many details making the feathers almost appear to be real. Two antique cut rubies are set in the eyes of the owl which bing the right amount of colour to the brooch. This brooch is in working condition with a safety hook and pin which we believe has been replaced by a newer one by its previous owner. The safety hook has an extra little clip securing the pin itself. This lovely brooch is in very good condition considering its age, yet we like to mention that it has some damage at the top and bottom of the back of the brooch. This is not visible from the front.

We are pleased to offer you this stunning solid gold diamond set cross. This marvellous religious pendant is crafted in 18 karat white gold and dipped in platinum to give it an even whiter appearance. It is set with a total of 60 natural diamonds. These diamonds blend in perfectly with the platinum, making them sparkle even more, and making them appear as one large diamond. In the centre we find the largest bezel set diamond with an approximate weight of 0,2 carats. From this old european diamond, four lines covered with twenty four diamonds turn into a cross as a base. An additional thirty five diamonds adorn the cross, giving it a dazzling look.

This pendant can also be worn as a brooch tanks to the trombone closure and pin on the back. This lovely jewel has beautiful open-work parts. These arise because the main arms of the cross are flanked by extra thin lanes that are attached to the centre cross via geometric filigree decoration. The inner corners of the cross are in turn decorated with triangular shapes which are, like the rest of this jewel, set with hand cut diamonds. These triangles provide its extra strong Art Deco look.

This Art deco pendant is most likely crafted around 1920 in Western Europe and holds a total of approximately 1,6 ct diamonds. All diamonds are SI2-P and therefore of bad quality using todays standards, yet we often see this quality used in diamond jewelry from this era. Nevertheless they steal the show and bring class and elegance to this antique pendant. This ravishing cross is a real beauty thanks to its hand cut diamond placed in platinum covert gold, its perfect big size and its elegant and simple shape. We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the late Victorian period. This collar brooch is crafted 18 karat solid gold and features stunning geometrical decoration. In the center of this beauty, we find an old miner cut ruby with a deep red colour. It is encircled with four sparkling rose cut diamonds. Together they for a lovely blooming flower. The base of the brooch is a diamond shaped polished base with little handmade engravings. This geometrical center is encircled with eight petal-shapes set with small pearls and decorated with openwork representing blooming flowers, petals and scrolls. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a long pin typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. This light stunning brooch is hallmarked with a French eagle head mark.

We love this wonderful example of an Napoleon III era brooch. We love the way the artist united the elegant flowing natural forms with angular contours giving it a strong and magical look. We love its high and rich carat, the colour tones and of course its wonderful design.

This marvellous floral ring is made in 18K yellow gold, marked with a 0,750 mark and set with little romantic rose cut diamonds. These diamonds where set in the shape of a flower with eight petals. The ring has been loved before for many years. Some off the diamonds are a bit chipped because of it, but they are authentic and old and that makes that we absolutely adore them.
