All original, freshly serviced and working perfectly: a vintage Swiss Made Mawi pocket watch. This piece presumably dates back to the mid 1960s, based on the age of the movement. The front features a glossy white enamel dial with gorgeously outlined luminous numerals and sword style hands. A sub dial at the 6 O'Clock position counts down the seconds. The dial has aged well with no overly coarse damage to speak of: no chips or cracks can be found, and all lettering is still very sharp and clear. It is housed in a metal open face pocket watch case measuring 50mm in diameter.

Inside we find a high quality Swiss Made Unitas 6431 movement, which is basically a slightly larger version of the very renowned Unitas 6497. Said 6497 movement is still produced to this day (albeit by the ETA brand) and used in a number of larger high quality wristwatches, such as Omega, Hamilton and Panerai.
