For sale is a Swiss Made Cartier "Ronde Solo" men's automatic watch with reference number W6701009, dating back to 2018 based on its warranty certificate and featuring typical Cartier design elements. This example features a large gold plated stainless steel case with beefy lugs, measuring 42mm in diameter and just over 8mm in thickness. Behind the sapphire crystal sits a refined matte off-white dial, almost silver or champagne even depending on the lighting. In signature Cartier fashion, the dial features large black Roman numerals with an inner railroad minute track, while blued steel hands indicate the time. A date window can be found at the 3 o'clock position. The original crown is decorated with Cartier's trademark blue cabochon stone.
Inside the watch sits the Swiss Made Cartier calibre 049 automatic movement, a high-quality and reliable calibre based on the proven ETA 2892 architecture. The movement has been thoroughly checked by our watchmaker and is currently running accurately with healthy amplitude, with no service deemed necessary.
The example offered here has been worn, but is still in good overall condition. You will find normal signs of wear on the gold plated case, but no coarse damage. The sapphire crystal appears free from scratches under normal inspection. The original Cartier brown leather strap has been worn but remains in good usable condition, and is fitted with the original gold plated Cartier buckle.
