This example features a 36mm stainless steel case with an 18k solid yellow gold fluted bezel. Behind the plexiglass crystal sits a rare gold-tone sunburst dial, often referred to by collectors as a "boiler gauge" dial due to its distinctive Arabic numeral layout inspired by vintage instrument displays. Luminous polished stick hands indicate the time, while the date display at 3 o'clock is magnified by Rolex's signature Cyclops lens.
