Offered for sale is a vintage Swiss Made Eterna men's dress watch with reference 138T1, believed to date from 1966 based on its serial number. The 34.5mm stainless steel case measures just under 10mm in thickness, giving it elegant proportions for a vintage dress watch. It houses a minimalist silver sunburst dial with raised black and polished steel indices, complemented by polished lacquered hands.
The watch has been worn throughout its life but remains in good condition considering its age. The case shows normal signs of wear without excessive damage. It has been cleaned but deliberately left unpolished to preserve its original edges, curves and finish. The plexiglass crystal is brand new and free from scratches. The dial remains in excellent condition, with no notable damage. The crown is not signed and is likely a replacement, but it fits correctly and suits the watch well. Power comes from the in-house Eterna calibre 1475K automatic movement, a robust vintage calibre from a historically important Swiss manufacturer. The movement has been thoroughly checked and is currently functioning correctly. The watch comes fitted with a brand new 17mm Hirsch "Rainbow" black leather strap, complete with Hirsch buckle and quick-release spring bars, ready to wear. Sold as watch only; unfortunately, no original box or paperwork are included.
