For sale is a Swiss-made Tissot 1853 PR 50 Titanium men's quartz watch with reference number J376/476 T, presumably dating back to the mid-2000s. Thanks to its choice of material, it's a very lightweight watch at only 53 grams. The titanium case measures approximately 36mm in diameter and is fairly slender at just under 7mm in thickness. The dark grey dial features a radial sunburst finish. Luminous hands indicate the time against raised indices, and a date window can be found at 3 o'clock. The crown is original and bears the Tissot "T" logo. Inside, we find a high-quality Swiss-made ETA F06.111 quartz movement, which was thoroughly checked, fitted with a fresh battery and is working perfectly.
The example offered here has been worn throughout its life but remains in decent condition considering its age. You will certainly find wear marks on the case and bracelet, most notably some scratches on the case and bezel, as well as a minor dent on the clasp. The dial and hands remain in good condition, with uniform and minimal signs of ageing. The sapphire crystal has a few minor scratches, only visible upon close inspection. Please study the photographs carefully, as they accurately represent the condition of the watch without digital enhancements. We are sure that you appreciate honesty, and so do we. One thing I would like to mention is that the titanium is a fair bit darker grey than it appears in the pictures: it is a rather difficult material to photograph realistically.
Functionally, the watch comes without a service history but has been thoroughly checked and is working perfectly; a service was not deemed necessary. The watch is fitted with the original titanium bracelet and signed clasp, which will fit wrists with a maximum circumference of approximately 17cm. Resizing the bracelet to fit smaller wrists can easily be done using the clasp adjustment or by removing some links. To increase the bracelet size beyond its current maximum, extra bracelet links will need to be sourced online or through an authorised dealer. Sold as watch only: sadly no original box or paperwork is present with this piece.
