For sale is a Japanese Citizen "Tsuyosa" men's watch with reference number NK5010-51L, presumably dating to 2024. The watch features a stainless steel case measuring 40 by 45mm and just under 12mm in thickness. Its deep blue dial features a stunning Art Deco-style texture, as Citizen describes it. Luminous hands indicate the time against chunky, raised luminous indices, and a small seconds sub-dial can be found at the 6 o'clock position. The crown is positioned rather quirkily between 4 and 5 o'clock, ensuring it is less likely to dig into the wrist than a conventionally positioned crown. Power comes from the automatic Citizen calibre 8233A movement, which is working perfectly and can be seen in all its glory through the exhibition case back.
The watch has been worn, but the signs of wear are very minimal: there are only minor scratches on the case and bracelet. The watch has been thoroughly cleaned but was deliberately left unpolished to preserve its original sharp edges, curves and finish. The sapphire crystal appears unmarked to the naked eye. Functionally, the watch comes without a service history but has been thoroughly checked and is working perfectly; a service was not deemed necessary. The watch is fitted with its original semi-integrated stainless steel bracelet with a concealed folding clasp. The bracelet is sized to fit wrists up to approximately 19cm in circumference. Reducing the size is easily done by removing links; to extend the bracelet, additional links will need to be sourced online or through a Citizen dealership. The watch comes with its original presentation box and outer cardboard box; sadly, no paperwork accompanies this piece.
