Queen Victoria, who was very respected and a true fashion icon during her reign, wore one herself. She received it from her Prince-to-be Albert as an engagement ring. This type of ring is called a Tank ring thanks to to the Tanks of the Second World War. These tank rings where mostly created during the 40's and 50's, as is this one, it is a perfect example of the retro style. In the middle between the two large diamonds a pearl steals the show.
