For sale is this stunning Georgian cross pendant. This beautiful royal cross was most likely made in Belgium or France in the beginning of the 19th century or late 18th. It is set with exceptionally large rose cut diamonds. These stunning diamonds are in perfect condition and foil back set like all diamonds during that period, this is a special technique that was used to bring the lustre of the diamonds to its best quality.

This stunning cross is made in 18k yellow gold and is in good condition considering its age. It appears that this cross had a repair on the back and that it has some dents on central part of the back.

We adore this cross because Georgian jewelry is rather rare as when time passed most worn out, was melted or taken apart and re-used for more modern designs. We therefore chose to keep the pendant as is, meaning that we did not clean this beauty although that would be possible. The grey looking flowers are originally yellow gold coloured with grey claws. If pleased, we can clean this pendant a bit before shipping it out to give it a better shine and to get the flowers a bit more bright.

She loved flowers and saw herself as the "little flower of Jesus," who gave glory to God by just being her beautiful little self among all the other flowers in God's garden. We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the late Victorian period. This collar brooch is crafted 18 K solid gold and features stunning geometrical decoration. In the center of this beauty, we find a half pearl set in a star-shaped setting. It is the center of a diamond shaped base with little handmade engravings. This geometrical center is flanked by 4 small dots, this whole is in turn encircled with an openwork representing blooming flowers, petals and scrolls. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a long pin typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. This light stunning brooch is hallmarked with a French eagle head mark.

This beautiful and generous cross pendant is a real treat for the eye. This art deco pendant is fully set with diamonds that are all decorated and put in the spotlight by millegraine detailing and finishes which make them appear as one. The main shape of the cross is set with twenty-four single cut diamonds. These are all of SI-P quality according to the current 21st century standards, although this quality is the most common quality used for beautiful antique jewelry like this one. In total this cross holds approx. 1,6 ct of diamonds. 

In the center of the cross we find an old European cut diamond with SI quality and with an approx weight of 0,25 ct. This pendant has beautiful open-work parts. These arise because the main arms of the cross are flanked by extra thin lanes that are attached to the centre cross via geometric filigree decoration. The inner corners of the cross are in turn decorated with triangular shapes which are, like the rest of this jewel, set with hand cut diamonds. Each triangle holds six diamonds, all rose or single cut. These triangles provide its extra strong Art Deco look.

This fine antique brooch is a fabulous jewel of a fabulous beast. This 18K gold brooch has the horse head hallmark which reveals us this brooch is crafted in France between 1838 and 1919. This is the time Queen Victoria was the reign of England, since she was very influential, she also influenced the goldsmiths in France and other European countries. Therefore we can say this is an Victorian Brooch crafted in France.

The beast shown on the brooch is a wyvern. It’s a mythical beast which was very popular in tales told in the Middle Ages. It’s a biped legendary creature with legs which look like eagle claws, the head and wings of a dragon, a reptile body and a tail ending in the shape of an arrow. In contradiction to the most common dragons now a day, these wyverns only have two legs and don’t breath fire. In cultures around the Mediterranean this concept of winged snakes was very popular. During Victoria’s era, this creature was seen as a talisman against evil.

The tail of this wyvern ends in acantus leafs and his wings are almost coming alive thanks to the engravings. For sale is this lovely bulky Rose Cut diamond ring. This symmetric Tank ring is made in 18 k Yellow gold and marked with a 0,750 mark. This type of ring is called a Tank ring thanks to to the Tanks of the Second World War. These tank rings where mostly created during the 40's and 50's and are a perfect example of the retro style. They are heavy, voluminous and have often asymmetrical forms. During the Victorian era, there were a lot of jewels made based on nature’s most wonderful scenes. This beautiful jewel is no different. This Victorian brooch is decorated with a ladybird resting on a shield. This shield is flanked by two small but stunning flowers. In the centre of these silver flowers we find two rose cut diamonds. A rose cut diamond is created to reflect candle light on there big facets. Therefore they give a warmer sparkle than modern cut brilliant diamonds.

The detailing of the ladybird itself is also stunning. The body is made out of a red tourmaline cabochon. Over the centre runs a small line made out of 18K rose gold to create the illusion of two separate wing covers. This 18k rose gold is also used to create the small legs of the ladybird. The upper body and head are made out of silver, this upper body is jewelled with two small rose cut diamonds. And last but not least, the eyes of this exquisite ladybird are two small old cut rubies.

On the side of the little c-clasp on the back, we find an eagle stamp. This hallmark is only used by French goldsmiths and was introduced in 1838. Since the jewel comes from the time when Queen Victoria reigned, we can also state that this brooch was made by hand. And if you ask us it’s made a highly skilled goldsmith since the details are incredibly beautifully finished.

For sale is this stunning Bee brooch. This 18 ct yellow gold beauty is most likely crafted in the Aesthetic period (1880-1901) during queen Victorias reign. This stunner is set with diamonds, rubies and a pearl. The details in this brooch are phenomenal. The wings are wonderfully engraved, the settings of the pearl and rubies are finished with filigree and to ensure the diamonds to sparkle more, they are set in gold covered silver so they blend in perfectly and form a bigger sparkling union.

This stunning brooch is set with twenty marvellous rose cut diamonds. These diamonds were all cut by hand and therefore unique, which makes us loving them even more. But not only the diamonds steel the show, the stunning pearl adds the right amount of class to this brooch. On top of that, two red rubies are used as the eyes of this beauty. These old cut rubies have both a diameter of approx 2,1mm. This lovely bee is not hallmarked, yet we believe it has a Belgian origin. There are 20 diamonds, all rose cut. The fourteen smallest have a diameter of approximately 2 mm, the biggest one in the tail has a diameter of approx 2,7mm and the four in the wings are approx 2,7*2,2 mm. The prettiest and biggest one forming the queens head is approx 3,4*3,4 mm.

We love this Queen, because, what is not to love? It is wonderfully detailed, the colours match perfectly and the diamonds are truly the icing on the cake!

For sale is this lovely bulky Rose Cut diamond ring. This Tank ring is made in 18 k Yellow gold and set with two larger old European cut diamonds and sic rose cut diamonds. This type of ring is called a Tank ring thanks to to the Tanks of the Second World War. These tank rings where mostly created during the 40's and 50's, as is this one, it is a perfect example of the retro style. In the middle between the two large diamonds a pearl steals the show. The rose cut diamonds give the ring some extra sparkle in their white coloured setting. We adore this marvellous ring. It is Bombastic, yet elegant and holds one of our favorite diamonds, rose cuts.
