This iconic design features a 22mm rectangular case with solid gold bezel. Said bezel is set with 32 aftermarket good quality brilliant cut diamonds for a total of approximately 0.32ct. Behind the sapphire crystal sits a matte silvery champagne dial with typical Cartier black Roman numerals and a so-called inside railroad minute track. Blued steel hands indicate the hours and minutes. The crown is original and features the trademark blue sapphire cabochon stone. Inside, we find a Swiss Made Cartier Calibre 157, a high quality quartz movement with 4 jewels. It has been checked, received a fresh battery, and is accurately keeping time.
The example sold here has been worn, but is still in good condition. You will find normal wear marks on the case when closely examining the watch, but no coarse damage. The watch is unpolished and therefore in original shape, with sharp lines and edges. The sapphire crystal looks unscathed to the naked eye.
