For sale is this stunning Art Nouveau pin depicting Hermes, also called Mercury. He was the messenger and guide for the gods of Olympia. He is also known as the protector of travellers. On top of that is this stickpin marked with a French horse head mark. This particular hors-head hallmark is a French hallmark that was set in gold jewelry between 1838 and 1919. Meaning that this pendant is dating back to the French Napoleon III period during English Queen Victoria's reign.

We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the late Victorian period. This floral themed collar brooch is crafted 18 Karat solid gold and features stunning floral shaped decoration and two elegant little pearls. The boarder is a raised, hollow, textured boarder with little crosses on them, typical for jewels made during this period in France. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a longer pin, typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. This light stunning brooch is hallmarked with a French eagle head and makers mark.

On the very detailed and decorated front side we see a baby Jesus with his guardian angel. What makes the whole even more beautiful are the 'The Dove of Hope' and the rays of the sun shining above them. On the back of this medal we read the words 'Ricordo del Battesimo' freely translated to 'memory of baptism'.

This wonderful Victorian bar brooch comes directly from the floral Art Nouveau period. This antique brooch features two twisted bars with balls on the end, each ball is covered with little flowers. A round plate holds the two twisted bars together. This circle is detailed with three little but wonderful flowers. Many little seed pearls adorn this marvellous brooch. The clasp is a pin with a safety hook which had a historic repair. This bar brooch is in good condition considering its age. This yellow gold brooch is tested for 18k gold.

For sale is this stunning Bee brooch. This 18 ct yellow gold beauty is most likely crafted in the Aesthetic period (1880-1901) during queen Victorias reign. This stunner is set with diamonds, rubies and a pearl. The details in this brooch are phenomenal. The wings are wonderfully engraved, the settings of the pearl and rubies are finished with filigree and to ensure the diamonds to sparkle more, they are set in gold covered silver so they blend in perfectly and form a bigger sparkling union.

This stunning brooch is set with twenty marvellous rose cut diamonds. These diamonds were all cut by hand and therefore unique, which makes us loving them even more. But not only the diamonds steel the show, the stunning pearl adds the right amount of class to this brooch. On top of that, two red rubies are used as the eyes of this beauty. These old cut rubies have both a diameter of approx 2,1mm. This lovely bee is not hallmarked, yet we believe it has a Belgian origin. There are 20 diamonds, all rose cut. The fourteen smallest have a diameter of approximately 2 mm, the biggest one in the tail has a diameter of approx 2,7mm and the four in the wings are approx 2,7*2,2 mm. The prettiest and biggest one forming the queens head is approx 3,4*3,4 mm.

We love this Queen, because, what is not to love? It is wonderfully detailed, the colours match perfectly and the diamonds are truly the icing on the cake!

But this beauty is authentic and old and that makes that we absolutely adore it. This ring is most likely crafted around 1890 in Belgium during English Queen Victoria's reign. There are some traces of wear because of its age and the fact that this ring is a beauty which is most likely loved a lot by its previous owners. For sale are these mid-Victorian diamond earrings. These antique earrings are covered with rose cut diamonds set in a floral formation. These diamonds are all hand cut and therefore unique. Some of these antique treasures have some traces of use, moreover five of the rose cut diamonds are a bit damaged which you can see on the pictures. Despite this minor damage, these earrings are in very good condition. The front of the earrings is made of white gold, while the back has most likely been recently renewed. Thanks to this innovation, these earrings have 14 ct rose gold closures that close perfectly and will hold the earrings in place all day long.

It is set with exceptionally large rose cut diamonds. These stunning diamonds are in very good condition and foil back set like most diamonds during that period, this is a special technique that was used to bring the lustre of the diamonds to its best quality. A crescent shape set with seven large rose cut diamonds is the central part of this piece. Floral shapes, small hand made engravings and twisted gold ropes finish off the large base of this brooch. Meanwhile small dangling flowers set with tiny rose cut diamonds ensure that this piece is a joyful treasure. This extraordinary brooch is made in 18k yellow gold and is in very good condition considering its age. We choose not to polish it in any way. This results in some parts still having their patina colours which they gained over the years.

We adore this brooch because of all its lustre, moreover what is not to love about this beauty. Furthermore because Victorian jewels like this one, are rather rare as when time passed, most are worn out, were melted or taken apart and re-used for more modern designs. We therefore chose to keep the pendant as is, meaning that we did not clean this beauty although that would be possible. These lovely earrings where made during the 19th century, when Queen Victoria was the ruler of the United Kingdom. Queen Victoria was an influential person. Her style and sense of fashion became almost a benchmark during her reign. Queen Victoria has devoted much attention on bringing nature into her home and that of her nation throughout her reign. For example plants but also animals were often depicted in her jewellery but also as decoration on furniture and other utensils.

The light hollow bases are covered with stamped flowers, each centre holds a pinkish glass stone. The top of each earring is a copy of the dangling part but smaller. Six hollow pendants dangle below this whole giving the earrings an even more joyful look. These long earrings are not that heavy and therefore the perfect earrings to wear all day long. For sale is this wonderful Dutch crossover ring. These rings are also known as 'Toi et Moi', which is French for 'you and me'. It is an incredibly romantic meaning- the joining of two souls in love. This ring is crafted in 14 ct yellow gold, and marked with an old Dutch leaf hallmark which was used between 1906 and 1953. This stunning 'toi et moi' -ring is set with a two foiled back rose cut diamonds.

We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the late Victorian period. This floral star themed collar brooch is crafted 18 Karat solid gold and features stunning floral hand engraved decoration. In the centre of this beauty, we find a greyish half pearl, encircled by a star shaped engraving. This lovely round base is encircled with many little pearls. Some of them are set in little rounds, while others are set in marvellous little star. These stars are alternated with greenish gold flowers with a lot of detail. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age, yet we like to let you know that there is a crack in the centre, as clearly visible in the pictures. This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a longer pin, typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. This light stunning brooch is not hallmarked but spectro tested for 18k gold.

We are delighted to show you this marvellous cross of Lorraine. It is not only a delicate, well made cross, it also shows Joan of Arc. Joan of Arc might be one of the most famous heroines in history, a martyr, who was burned at the stake. In 1920, she became the Patron Saint of France.

This double barred cross is a light charm with a lot of detail. It has been loved and worn a lot. We can tell by the fact that it is a little bit bend, because the top layer of detailles is a little rubbed off and because the bail has been repaired. Because of this, the hallmark is gone. During the Victorian era, there were a lot of jewels made based on nature’s most wonderful scenes. This beautiful jewel is no different. This Victorian brooch is decorated with a ladybird resting on a shield. This shield is flanked by two small but stunning flowers. In the centre of these silver flowers we find two rose cut diamonds. A rose cut diamond is created to reflect candle light on there big facets. Therefore they give a warmer sparkle than modern cut brilliant diamonds.

The detailing of the ladybird itself is also stunning. The body is made out of a red tourmaline cabochon. Over the centre runs a small line made out of 18K rose gold to create the illusion of two separate wing covers. This 18k rose gold is also used to create the small legs of the ladybird. The upper body and head are made out of silver, this upper body is jewelled with two small rose cut diamonds. And last but not least, the eyes of this exquisite ladybird are two small old cut rubies.

On the side of the little c-clasp on the back, we find an eagle stamp. This hallmark is only used by French goldsmiths and was introduced in 1838. Since the jewel comes from the time when Queen Victoria reigned, we can also state that this brooch was made by hand. And if you ask us it’s made a highly skilled goldsmith since the details are incredibly beautifully finished.

We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the Victorian period. This collar brooch is crafted 18 K solid gold and features stunning floral shapes. In the centre of this beauty, we find a well detailled matt flower. This lovely flower lays on top of two elegant leafs, which are in turn flanked by lines of little dots. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a long pin typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. This light stunning brooch is hallmarked with a French eagle head.
