This stunning shield shaped locket has a horse themed ornament in its center, which give this beauty a elegant and attractive appearance. It is decorated with a riding crop and a horse shoe which is believed to bring luck. The back of the locket is plain. The inside of this charm holds an extra detachable frame. This frame is set with a glass which you can remove from the bottom.
This stunning locket is not hallmarked, so it is tested for 18 karat solid gold and is in very good condition considering its age, yet we like to mention that it is a bit dented on all sides as visible in the pictures. We believe that this pendant was made in Belgium or France and that it is dating back to the French Napoleon III period during English Queen Victoria's reign.
