This French St. Christopher charm is in excellent condition regarding its age. It is dating back to the 1930's, the Art Deco Period, and is crafted in 18 karat solid yellow gold. Saint Christopher is the patron saint of all travellers. Christopher means 'Christ bearer' in Greek, or freely translated the one who carries Christ. The relief image is very detailed and breath taking in real life. The front also reads the words ' regarde-st-christophe-et-va-t-en-rassure'. This wonderful beauty is hallmarked with a French eagle head mark and a makers mark. The back is engraved with the initials B G and date 11 may 1939.
