We are delighted to present this extraordinary pendant, our heart literally skipped a beat when we laid our eyes on it for the first time, and keeps on doing it every time we look at it. This beautiful treasure is full of hidden meanings depicting the holy communion with Jesus Christ on the front. While a dove, grain, lamb and grapes are visible on the back.
As said, one side of the charm shows a relief scene of Jesus, often associated with baptism or holy communion themes. Jesus is pictured in front of an aureola while he breaks the bread. The scene is encircled by very decorative Gothic-style quatrefoil boarders giving the charm more dept and character. The other side holds a lot of symbolising drawings. Moreover the lamb, grape, grain, and dove which are foundational symbols in Christianity, often representing the nature of Christ, the Eucharist, the Holy Spirit, and peace.
This detailed religious charm is crafted in 18 karat solid yellow gold. It's made with love and very well preserved, all details are still very clear and breathtaking. The back is engraved with the initials H V and the date 22 Septembre 1913. The pendant is signed by lavrillier.
