For sale is this Marvellous 18 K gold and silver Victorian brooch. This piece was crafted during the 19th century in France and is therefor also called a Napoleon III jewel. This stunning floral themed bar brooch is set with a bright blue sapphire, which give this beauty a strong and attractive appearance. Small but breath taking rose cut diamonds form a halo around this sapphire bringing the right amount of sparkles to this elegant brooch. On top of that, the whole bar is set with these lovely diamonds. 

A French eagle head is struck in the pin of the brooch, telling us that a part of this marvellous brooch was made in France out of 18k rose gold. This gold base is covered with silver. Goldsmiths from this era believed that only silver could hold beautiful stones like diamonds. Because this silver was able to render the real beauty of these diamonds. The black patin of this silver layer, discolored over the years, brings out the white shine of the diamonds even more effectively

A common and very lovey design from this time. The front of this wonderful charm redas 'Jean Aliot 7 Mai 1915" and is adorned with four hand engraved little flowers resembling lily of the valley. The back is engraved with ' Campagne 1914 1915' referring to the war. This antique pendant was made in France and is marked with a French horse head. This particular hors-head hallmark is a French hallmark that was set in gold jewelry between 1838 and 1919. Meaning that this pendant is dating back to the French Napoleon III period during English Queen Victoria's reign.

We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the late Victorian period. This floral star themed collar brooch is crafted 18 Karat solid gold and features stunning floral hand engraved decoration. In the centre of this beauty, we find a greyish half pearl, encircled by a star shaped engraving. This lovely round base is encircled with many little pearls. Some of them are set in little rounds, while others are set in marvellous little star. These stars are alternated with greenish gold flowers with a lot of detail. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age, yet we like to let you know that there is a crack in the centre, as clearly visible in the pictures. This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a longer pin, typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. This light stunning brooch is not hallmarked but spectro tested for 18k gold.

For sale are these adorable antique earrings crafted during the Georgian era 1714-1830. These beauties are set with foil-backed rose cut diamonds, arranged in a flower formation. The gemstones are set in silver backed with gold as was typical at this time because jewellers believed that silver was the only material able to enhance the beauty of diamonds. We have to admit that it is a wonderful combination and a very recognisable combination to this Georgian era. The gold layer on the back was to prevent the wearers skin to turn black from the silver, very smart right? They bear no hallmark but we believe that they are of Dutch or Belgium origin with later replaced screw back in 14 ct yellow gold.

This wonderful Victorian eagle brooch stole our hearts the second we laid eyes on it. This antique brooch features a wonderful flying eagle and we believe that it is marked with a French horse head, yet it is only a very small part of it that is visible so we can't be 100% sure, we therefore spectro tested it for 18karat gold. This particular hors-head hallmark is a French hallmark that was set in gold jewelry between 1838 and 1919. An antique cut ruby set in the snakes head bings the right amount of colour to the brooch. This brooch is in working condition with a safety hook and pin. This lovely brooch is in very good condition considering its age, it has a little hook at the bottom to attach a small pocket watch or a pendant. On top of that it has a small hoop at the eagles mouth so you can attach a pearl or small charm there.

An Eagle is often the symbol of bravery, it is meant to encourage and inspire people to reaching higher. To push your limits to see what you can do. Eagles should bring a sense of courage and a desire to explore in order to grow.

For sale is this lovely bulky single Cut diamond ring. This Ruby Tank ring is made in 18 k Yellow gold, which turned some what orangy during the years. It is a great layer of patina and a typical colour of gold for jewels from this period.  It is marked with a Belgian makers mark and a 0,750 mark for 18 karat solid gold. This type of ring is called a Tank ring thanks to to the Tanks of the Second World War. These tank rings where mostly created during the 40's and 50's and are a perfect example of the retro style. They are heavy and voluminous.

Two central lines of diamonds are set in a bow, giving the ring some extra volume. Six baguette cut rubies steals the show on each side of this line. These rubies are set in a yellow gold setting making them pop-out even more. (These gold settings with rubies are kept in place by two screws. One of them is the original one in gold, the other screw has been replaced by its previous owner for a black one.) These pink gemstones are flanked by many single cut diamonds. These diamonds are all set in platinum. They ensure the correct amount of 'sparkle' in their white coloured setting. This wonderful ring is set with a total of 28 natural diamonds that combine for a total weight of approximately 0,8 ct.

This wonderful Art Deco bar brooch stole our hearts the second we laid eyes on it. This antique brooch features three wonderful old European cut diamonds. Which were cut to reflect candle light in the most beautiful ways. Art deco was a popular style movement from the beginning of the 20th century. It was eclectic, art deco is a pastiche of the many different styles that preceded it. It combined previous styles with the new upcoming industrial one which was often contradictory. Traditional motifs were complemented by a tighter look that was influenced by the latest technologies opposed to art nouveau, which was very organic.

Regarding the diamonds, the centre of this lovely brooch is set with a pretty old European cut diamond with an approx weight of 0,17ct. Four rose cut diamonds flan this stone, to be flanked in turn by two single old cut diamonds. These two diamonds have a combined weight of approx. 0,06ct. We love honesty, and therefore like to mention that one of the smaller diamonds is a bit damaged at the top, a part is chipped off, this  is not that visible with the naked eye, yet we prefer to let you know.

The closure is a trombone gasp which was mainly used in Europe from the beginning till the mid-20th century. It’s an improved security on the clasp which was more fragile before. Like all things they kept improving the clasps of brooches. Later that century a new clasp was invented as a result of which this clasp was no longer made. The pin and clasp are working perfectly, not to say very well since the closure is a little stubborn and therefore very sturdy. The brooch itself is made in yellow gold, while the top of the pin is plated with rhodium to give it a white gold look.

We love this brooch because the open work gives this heavy jewel an airy look. The diamonds and geometric design ensure that this jewel is balanced and peaceful but at the same time striking and dazzling. From classic to modern, festive to casual, this antique brooch can be combined with anything.

The champagne tone bases are covered with very well detailled bunches of grapes. The little pearls representing the grapes make the earrings even more unique. These two bunches of grapes with detailed leafs are 3D placed on top of the bases. These oval earrings are light and therefore the perfect earrings to wear all day long.

We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the late Victorian period. This floral themed collar brooch is crafted 18 Karat solid gold and features stunning floral shaped hand engraved decoration and eight rose cut diamonds. The boarder is a raised, hollow, textured boarder with little crosses on them, typical for jewels made during this period in France and its neighbour countries. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a longer pin, typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. This light stunning brooch is not hallmarked but tested for 18 karat gold.

For sale is this lovely bulky Rose Cut diamond ring. This Tank ring is made in 18 karat Yellow gold and finished with white rhodium touches to make the diamonds sparkle even more. This type of ring is called a Tank ring thanks to to the Tanks of the Second World War. These tank rings where mostly created during the 40's and 50's and are a perfect example of the retro style.

A central circle is set with seven rose cut diamonds with two additional once flank them in their own bow like settings. The base of the ring is shaped like a strong bow, giving the ring some extra volume and power. We adore this marvellous ring. For sale is this stunning Georgian cross pendant. This beautiful royal cross was most likely made in Belgium or France in the beginning of the 19th century or late 18th. It is set with exceptionally large rose cut diamonds. These stunning diamonds are in perfect condition and foil back set like all diamonds during that period, this is a special technique that was used to bring the lustre of the diamonds to its best quality.

This stunning cross is made in 18k yellow gold and is in good condition considering its age. It appears that this cross had a repair on the back and that it has some dents on central part of the back.

We adore this cross because Georgian jewelry is rather rare as when time passed most worn out, was melted or taken apart and re-used for more modern designs. We therefore chose to keep the pendant as is, meaning that we did not clean this beauty although that would be possible. The grey looking flowers are originally yellow gold coloured with grey claws. If pleased, we can clean this pendant a bit before shipping it out to give it a better shine and to get the flowers a bit more bright.

This type of ring is called a Tank ring thanks to to the Tanks of the Second World War. Pharaoh is the vernacular term often used for the monarchs of ancient Egypt, who ruled from the First Dynasty until the annexation of Egypt by the Roman Empire in 30 BC. The Pharaoh is well detailled, decorated with a lovely blue turquoise and marked with the Egyptian hallmark for 18k gold. This lovely charm has a little hole on the top left of its head.

We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the early 20th century, also known as the late Victorian period. This collar brooch is crafted in 18 K solid gold and features a lovely floral decoration. In the center of this beauty, we find a small but colourful ruby which is the head of the hand engraved flower. four groups of seed pearls flank the central squared base. The whole is encircled by a squared shape.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. It is equipped with a trombone Clasps. This little stunning brooch is not hallmarked but tested for 18k gold.

We love this wonderful example of an Art Nouveau brooch crafted during the late Napoleon III era in Europe. We love the way the artist united the elegant flowing natural forms with angular contours giving it a strong and magical look. On the very detailed and decorated front side we see a baby Jesus with his guardian angel. What makes the whole even more beautiful are the 'The Dove of Hope' and the rays of the sun shining above them. On the back of this medal we read the words 'Ricordo del Battesimo' freely translated to 'memory of baptism'.
