For sale is this wonderful 1900's solid gold pendant covered with bell shaped flowers, hand engravings and the date 1915. The base is a flower shaped plate encircled by a round textured circle. A common and very lovey design from this time. The front of this wonderful charm redas 'Jean Aliot 7 Mai 1915" and is adorned with four hand engraved little flowers resembling lily of the valley. The back is engraved with ' Campagne 1914 1915' referring to the war. This antique pendant was made in France and is marked with a French horse head. This particular hors-head hallmark is a French hallmark that was set in gold jewelry between 1838 and 1919. Meaning that this pendant is dating back to the French Napoleon III period during English Queen Victoria's reign.

1920's Art Deco double clip brooch in Platinum set with 8.5ct brilliant cut diamonds, 5.8ct tapered baguettes diamonds and pink sapphires.


We are delighted to introduce you to this colourful Art Deco beauty. This bow shaped double-clip brooch is set with tapered baguette and old brilliant cut diamonds, most of these old cuts have a lovely little cullet. Additional pink sapphires ensure its popping appearance. A dazzling 160 natural diamonds were set in this brooch to take your breath away.

This jewel, dating back to circa 1920's, is in very good condition considering its age. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds. For sale is this Victorian reverse intaglio pin depicting a dog (most likely a French Bulldog) standing on grass. This antique 18 karat solid gold brooch is adorned with an Essex crystal. This is a clear crystal cabochon which is carved out from the flat back side, then painted by hand within the cavity, and backed with mother-of-pearl to give the miniature dog portrait a lovely 3D effect. We truly adore it. Not only the painting is exquisite, the design of the pin itself is it as well. The maker chose a now very warm patina coloured gold that is shaped into a belt encircling the crystal. This treasure is not hallmarked (like most jewelry from this era that find their origin in Belgium.) so we spectro tested it to verify its purity without damaging it.

We are so delighted to show you these magnificent Dutch heirlooms. These antique earrings are crafted in 18 karat solid yellow, patina champagne-toned gold. These earrings were most likely crafted at the end of the 19th century around 1880. They were worn by women in some parts of the Netherlands and represent the rich cultural heritage the Netherlands has to offer.

The champagne tone bases are covered with very well detailled flowers and leafs. These bases are placed on an oval matt finished earring with petal like halo around it. We like to mention that one of the earrings has two smaller dents on the central over champagne coloured base as visible in the picture.

Two rose cut paste stone and a half pearl set in a claw setting to make the earrings even more unique. These flowers with detailed leafs are 3D placed on top of the bases. These oval earrings are light and therefore the perfect earrings to wear all day long.

The wings are wonderfully engraved, the settings of the pearl and rubies are finished with filigree and to ensure the diamonds to sparkle more, they are set in gold covered silver so they blend in perfectly and form a bigger sparkling union.

This stunning brooch is set with twenty marvellous rose cut diamonds. These diamonds were all cut by hand and therefore unique, which makes us loving them even more. But not only the diamonds steel the show, the stunning pearl adds the right amount of class to this brooch. On top of that, two red rubies are used as the eyes of this beauty. These old cut rubies have both a diameter of approx 2,1mm. This lovely bee is not hallmarked, yet we believe it has a Belgian origin. There are 20 diamonds, all rose cut. We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the late Victorian period. This floral themed collar brooch is crafted 18 Karat solid gold and features stunning floral shaped decoration and two elegant little pearls. The boarder is a raised, hollow, textured boarder with little crosses on them, typical for jewels made during this period in France. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a longer pin, typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. For sale are these rare day and night Napoleon III earrings. These 18 karat rose gold dormeuse earrings (also called sleepers) have a front closure and are decorated with textured bows, two dots and are finished with a lot of detail. The fine details are well made and preserved considering their age. The teardrop shaped pendants are hollow, but in great condition. One of the dormeuses has had a repair by its previous owner which left the front a bit darker and dented.

We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the late Victorian period. This Good Luck themed collar brooch is crafted 18 Karat solid gold and features stunning half seed pearl decorations. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a longer pin, typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. This light stunning brooch is not hallmarked but spectro tested for 18k gold.

As you can see in the pictures, there is a dark inclusion in the centre of the central rose cut diamond, right in the middle. Onyx jewelry were mostly worn in The Grand Victorian Era, between ca. 1861-1880. In this period Queen Victoria lost her beloved King Albert, therefore mourning jewellery became more popular in this period, since widows were expected to wear full mourning for two years. This would mean that they would only wear black clothes, symbolic of spiritual darkness, just like their jewelry. They had to be as black as possible. The bright buttery gold and white half pearls stand out magically against the dark background they shine like a glimmer of hope in the dark night.

This type of ring is called a Tank ring thanks to to the Tanks of the Second World War. These tank rings where mostly created during the 40's and 50's and are a perfect example of the retro style. They are heavy, voluminous and have often symmetrical forms.

A central thin horizontal line set with eight baguette cut rubies make sure that the ring os a colourful eye-catcher while ten breath taking old european cut diamonds steals the show. They are placed in two lines of five diamonds, appearing as two sparkling lines. The book like base of the ring finish the whole and turn this ring a romanic beauty.

We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the Victorian period. This collar brooch is crafted 18 karat solid gold and features stunning floral shapes. In its centre we find an enamel adorned oval. This black and white enamel makes the hand engraved floral artwork pop out. This specific enamel pallet in combination with the warm gold was mainly used in the France during the 1850s and 60's. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

Three small hoops at the bottom of the brooch were used to give the owner of the brooch many ways to wear the brooch. Plain in day time and with dangling pearls for example at night. It was quite in fashion to have modular jewels back in that period in time.

The brooch is functioning and in very good condition considering its age. This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a long pin typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. This light stunning brooch is hallmarked with a French horse head. This particular hors-head hallmark is a French hallmark that was set in gold jewelry between 1838 and 1919. We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the late Victorian period. This collar brooch is crafted 18 karat solid gold and features stunning geometrical decoration. In the center of this beauty, we find an old miner cut ruby with a deep red colour. It is encircled with eight half pearls. Together they for a lovely blooming flower. The base of the brooch is a diamond shaped polished base with little handmade engravings of flowers. This geometrical center is encircled with a very detailled open work boarder with four little star shapes set with pearls. They are in turn encircled by four petal-shapes detailled with handmade engravings. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a long pin typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. This light stunning brooch holds no hallmark but is tested for 18 karat solid gold.

For sale is this Victorian (circa 1890's) 18 Karat solid yellow gold cross pendant with indented points which got a more orange hue, a detail we absolutely adore. This beautiful catholic charm is decorated with a smaller well detailled gothic-style cross in its centre with the same orange hue as the points of the largest cross. Another cross comes from behind this small one to make a 'starburst' behind it. Unfortunately one of the small arms is missing, the right upper one to be more specific. This wonderful Victorian eagle brooch stole our hearts the second we laid eyes on it. This antique brooch features a wonderful flying eagle and we believe that it is marked with a French horse head, yet it is only a very small part of it that is visible so we can't be 100% sure, we therefore spectro tested it for 18karat gold. This particular hors-head hallmark is a French hallmark that was set in gold jewelry between 1838 and 1919. An antique cut ruby set in the snakes head bings the right amount of colour to the brooch. This brooch is in working condition with a safety hook and pin. This lovely brooch is in very good condition considering its age, it has a little hook at the bottom to attach a small pocket watch or a pendant. On top of that it has a small hoop at the eagles mouth so you can attach a pearl or small charm there.

An Eagle is often the symbol of bravery, it is meant to encourage and inspire people to reaching higher. To push your limits to see what you can do. Eagles should bring a sense of courage and a desire to explore in order to grow.

This wonderful Art Deco bar brooch stole our hearts the second we laid eyes on it. This antique brooch features three wonderful old European cut diamonds. Which were cut to reflect candle light in the most beautiful ways. Art deco was a popular style movement from the beginning of the 20th century. It was eclectic, art deco is a pastiche of the many different styles that preceded it. It combined previous styles with the new upcoming industrial one which was often contradictory. Traditional motifs were complemented by a tighter look that was influenced by the latest technologies opposed to art nouveau, which was very organic.

Regarding the diamonds, the centre of this lovely brooch is set with a pretty old European cut diamond with an approx weight of 0,17ct. Four rose cut diamonds flan this stone, to be flanked in turn by two single old cut diamonds. These two diamonds have a combined weight of approx. 0,06ct. We love honesty, and therefore like to mention that one of the smaller diamonds is a bit damaged at the top, a part is chipped off, this  is not that visible with the naked eye, yet we prefer to let you know.

The closure is a trombone gasp which was mainly used in Europe from the beginning till the mid-20th century. It’s an improved security on the clasp which was more fragile before. Like all things they kept improving the clasps of brooches. Later that century a new clasp was invented as a result of which this clasp was no longer made. The pin and clasp are working perfectly, not to say very well since the closure is a little stubborn and therefore very sturdy. The brooch itself is made in yellow gold, while the top of the pin is plated with rhodium to give it a white gold look.

We love this brooch because the open work gives this heavy jewel an airy look. The diamonds and geometric design ensure that this jewel is balanced and peaceful but at the same time striking and dazzling. From classic to modern, festive to casual, this antique brooch can be combined with anything.
