It features a slender gold plated case which measures 33.5mm in diameter and is just 9mm thick. The dial on this particular example comes in a creamy silver/champagne tone with subtle vertical brushed finish. Luminous sword shaped hands indicate the time on gold tone Arabic numerals, and a calendar window can be found at 3 O'clock. The hands have developed some slight patina and discolouration over the years, but the dial has aged very well. Inside the watch sits a high quality Longines 701 manual winding movement. The watch comes with a fitting black perforated leather strap with generic buckle, to complete its vintage looks.
The example sold here has been worn throughout its life, but is still in good condition. The case has been cleaned entirely, but left unpolished to maintain its sharp edges and curves. You will find some wear marks on the case and lugs, but no coarse damage. A brand new plexiglass crystal was fitted. The crown is original and bears the Longines logo. The movement was completely disassembled, has been freshly serviced, and is working perfectly.
