Offered for sale is a vintage Swiss Made Zenith men's dress watch, dating back to the early 1960s. It features a slender 18k solid yellow gold case which measures 33mm in diameter and is just 7.6mm thick. The dial on this particular example comes in a lovely cream linen finish with minimalist gold tone indices and sub seconds at the 6 O'clock position. Inside the watch sits a high quality Zenith caliber 2511 manual winding movement. The watch comes fitted to an original Zenith branded dark brown leather strap with generic buckle, to complete its vintage looks. A generic cognac leather strap is shown in the wristshot photo, and will also be included.
The example sold here has been worn throughout its life, but is still in good condition. The case has been cleaned entirely, but left unpolished to maintain its sharp edges and curves. You will find some minor wear marks on the case and lugs, but no coarse damage. A brand new plexiglass crystal was fitted. The crown is fairly worn, but is believed to be the original and was therefore not replaced. The movement was freshly serviced, and is working perfectly. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. We are sure that you like honesty, and so do we. In all, a lovely fully functional vintage wristwatch. Comes as a watch only, sadly no box or paperwork are present with this piece.
