Offered for sale is a vintage Swiss-made Omega Seamaster men's dress watch with reference number 135.041, presumably dating to 1969 based on its serial number. It features a rounded stainless steel case measuring 34.5mm in diameter and just about 10mm in thickness, housing a minimalist, radially brushed silver dial. Polished stick-shaped hands indicate the time against raised indices.
The example offered here has been worn throughout its life but remains in decent condition considering its age. You will find wear marks on the case, but no overly coarse damage. Most notably, there is some pitting on the case back, likely caused by the watch being worn on a Perlon strap. The dial and hands are in good condition, with normal signs of ageing and some deformation around the dial feet, between 4–5 and 9–10 o'clock. It is powered by the renowned Omega calibre 601 manual-winding movement, which was completely disassembled, cleaned and lubricated as part of the service and is running perfectly. The case was thoroughly cleaned but purposefully left unpolished to preserve its sharp edges and original finish. The plexiglass crystal is brand-new, free from scratches and hallmarked in the centre with the Omega logo. The crown is original and also signed. The watch comes fitted with a brand-new Hirsch "Boston" black leather strap with quick-release spring bars and a Hirsch-branded buckle, ready to wear. Sold as watch only: sadly no original box or paperwork are accompanying this piece.
