For sale is this wonderful late Victorian 18 K yellow gold lovers knot. It represents the unbreakable bond and eternal connection between two lovers. This hollow brooch is made in 18k yellow gold and was most likely made in France during the late 19th century. In this period Queen Victoria lost her beloved King Albert, therefore mourning jewellery became more popular in this period. Because of this, an eternal love symbol like this one, is a traditionally loving gift to love, honour and remember a loved one. This brooch ensures you that you are able to carry your loved one, who is represented with this love pin, close to your heart.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. It is equipped with a C closure and a long pin typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. This little stunning brooch is hallmarked with a French eagle head. We love every little detail of this lovers token and hope to find a new and warm home for it, where it will be treasured the way it should be treasured.
