The watch features a slender yellow gold capped unishell case with solid yellow gold bezel, measuring 34.5mm in diameter and just over 9mm thick. The dial on this particular example comes in a creamy silvery champagne sunburst finish. Polished gold tone stick shaped hands indicate the time on gold tone indices. A calendar window can be found at the 3 O'clock position. Inside the watch sits a renowned Omega 611 manually wound movement, which is freshly serviced and working perfectly. The watch comes on a quality dark brown Hirsch "Kansas" leather strap with quick release spring bars and generic gold plated buckle, ready to wear.
The example sold here has been worn, but is in decent condition considering its age. You will find wear marks on the case and lugs, but no coarse damage. The case has been cleaned thoroughly, but was left unpolished to maintain its original edges and curves. A brand new Sternkreuz XAG 316.607 plexiglass crystal was fitted, which is identical to Omega's PX5072 crystal minus the Omega hallmark in the center. The crown is original and signed with the Omega logo, but the gold cap is fading slightly. The dial has aged fairly well, with a few blemishes around the center and the outer edge. The lume in the hands has deteriorated and cracked, as is usually the case.
Functionally, the watch has received a full service prior to sale and is working perfectly. The movement was entirely disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and regulated.
