For sale is a Swiss Made Breitling SuperOcean Heritage II 42 Automatic watch, presumably dating back to 2020. Inspired by the original SuperOcean models from the 1950s, this modern interpretation combines Breitling's historic dive watch design language with a modern touch. The stainless steel case measures 42mm in diameter and features a glossy black ceramic bezel. Behind the sapphire crystal sits a vibrant green sunburst dial, which changes character depending on the lighting conditions. Please note that the dial may appear slightly blue in some photographs; this is caused by reflections from the anti-reflective coating on the sapphire crystal. Iconic triangular-shaped luminous hands indicate the time on polished steel applied indices, while a calendar window can be found at the 6 o'clock position. As indicated on the dial, the watch offers water resistance up to 200m/660ft, supported by its screw-down crown. Said crown is original and signed with the typical Breitling "B" logo.
Inside the watch sits Breitling's Manufacture Caliber B20, a COSC-certified automatic chronometer based on the Tudor MT5612 architecture. The movement has been thoroughly checked by our professional watchmaker and is currently functioning perfectly, with no service deemed necessary.
The example offered here has been worn, but is still in good overall cosmetic condition. You will find minor signs of wear on both the case and bracelet, but no coarse damage. The most noticeable marks are scratches on the polished clasp. The sapphire crystal appears free from scratches under normal inspection.
