For sale is a Swiss Made Pierre Balmain "Miss Balmain" Ladies' watch with reference number 2092, presumably dating back to the early 2010s. The rectangular gold plated stainless steel tank shaped case measures 21,5mm wide by 27mm high and just under 5.5mm in thickness. Said case flows over seamlessly into the original semi-integrated gold plated bracelet, which features a signed folding clasp. Behind the sapphire crystal sits a stunning silver tone dial with typical Balmain Arabesque floral pattern. Pierre Balmain is known to have had a love for Middle-Eastern art and its floral "Arabesque" motifs, and made this a recurring theme for his watch designs. Gold tone dauphine style hands indicate the time on gold Roman numeral indices. The crown is original and bears a black cabochon stone.
The watch is powered by a Swiss Made ETA 902.002 movement, a high quality quartz calibre with 4 jewels which is working perfectly. Fitted to the watch is its original gold plated bracelet. Please be aware that said bracelet is currently sized to fit a wrist with maximum circumference of around 16 to 16.5cm. Resizing the bracelet to fit smaller wrists can easily be done by removing some links. In order to increase the size of the bracelet past 16.5cm, extra bracelet links will have to be sourced online or at a dealership. Alternatively, a Balmain/generic strap or bracelet with 14mm lug width and central cutout can be fitted in order to make the watch suit any wrist size.
The example sold here has been worn, but is still in good overall condition. You will find wear marks on the case and bracelet, but no coarse damage. The sapphire crystal is in good condition still, with no damage to the naked eye. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is.
