For sale is a beautiful military-inspired watch made by Hamilton Watch Co, who were based in Lancaster Pennsylvania at the time. The watch presumably dates back to the early 1990s. Despite Hamilton's American heritage, the watch is Swiss made and boasts a Swiss Made quartz watch. Hamilton used to make watches for different military purposes, and this is where the draws its inspiration from. The relatively small stainless steel case measures 32mm in diameter and 11mm in thickness, and features a fixed finely fluted bezel surrounding the domed mineral crystal.
Behind said crystal sits a plain white dial with typical military design queues: an outer railroad track, large luminous Arabic numerals, and luminous cathedral style hands. The crown is original and features the older Hamilton "H" logo. Inside the watch sits a Swiss Made ETA 955.422 quartz movement, which is working perfectly.
The example sold here has been worn throughout its life, but is still in good condition considering its age. You will find wear marks on the case, but no overly coarse damage. The case is unpolished and therefore in original shape. The domed mineral crystal is brand new, and therefore free from scratches. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. Functionally, the watch has been checked, received a new battery, and is accurately keeping time. The watch comes with two different straps: an army green NATO strap that fits perfectly with its military heritage, as well as a dark brown Hirsch "Modena" leather strap with quick release spring bars for a more subtle look. This'll allow the new owner to change things up from time to time. Sold as watch only: sadly no original box or paperwork are accompanying this piece.
